Tryptic 2 and 3 are winners, I do know what you mean about the colour, put that one in the centre of the tryptic and all will be balanced. Do you have enough internal doors removed and available to make the frames?Good morning everyone from a very early 0330 up before the larks start in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of pea and ham soup and a startled wake up came in at 3.2 this am - good job that liver motion sensor kicked in and released a booster shot, a bit OTT in my opinion.
Cold yesterday - brrrh! And, a miffed and noisy sea. Not angry, like it can be, soaking the unaware over the sea wall. Noisy though. Pub industry moaning and wailing about not being able to open pubs during Easter weekend - good grief. Vaccine passports - we need to lobby for blue ones and push for them to be available on EBay.
Versions 2 and 3 of my tryptic - version 3, colour - really not working. Never mind, it’s another day. Hope that everyone has a Good Friday - or as my grandchildren informed me on zoom last night; “it’s not called Good Friday grandad, it’s called Fish and Chips Friday.” Time for koffy.

Bad crash in Taiwan, Ian.Good plan. Enjoy! I shudder to think what Bath will see on visitation numbers...that's why I'm going out after my poached eggs before the country roads get slammed.
Have a good one up there!
Dreadful. Wan just got in touch after I pinged him; doesn't know anyone on it as of yet; pretty shocking given I was hopping in and off those...Feel for everyone out there, such lovely folks.Bad crash in Taiwan, Ian.
D.
Thank you @Muddy Cyclist, I expect that Mrs Miggins will have the final say. Door guy came and went yesterday. I heard the words “email” and “estimate” mentioned but could have been something else as everyone was masked up to the eyeballs.Tryptic 2 and 3 are winners, I do know what you mean about the colour, put that one in the centre of the tryptic and all will be balanced. Both are great paintings @dunelmGood morning everyone from a very early 0330 up before the larks start in the dark and dangerous north

Great to see you here @RFSMarch and glad things are going ok. Corporate Comms roles too perhaps on the radar?Morning all... been a while but plan is to reintroduce Libre sensor to my beleaguered limbs on Sunday night. So hopefully back to posting from Monday.
Adjustment to a job in an office with REAL people (and a cat from upstairs!) has been tougher than I thought after a year. Means I have had no issues doing my treadmill and spin bike session but then totally run out of steam. Also had a knee issue which seems to have resolved (bizarrely most markedly after I had the jab!). Need to be a lot better in April. Dodged a bullet with no weight loss this month... but no gain either - so given I baked myself a coffee cake on a whim for my second lockdown birthday and nibbled it away in around 5-6 days, I will gladly take that!
This week has been intense with it being the last week before the end of the tax year, which for a payroll company is... mega. So I accepted the suggestion that "it would be super helpful if you COULD come in and do some extra hours" gratefully because to put not too fine a point on it, I need the money. I have no idea how long it will last as at the moment most of their staff are working at home, but bit by bit they are looking to bring people back into the office, so for as long as it lasts, I will gratefully take it... and let the accountants sort out the PAYE element.
Beggars can't be choosers... and I worked out that this month alone, I can use the money to pay back my best mate who so very kindly lent me almost £1k after a temporary tenant caused £00s of damage to things in the house in just a month... the relief of not having that over me is.... overwhelming.
Britwatch is having to be managed in my lunch-hour (the boss and lodger very kindly let me work off a Wifi personal hotspot and my laptop in my lunch break) and obviously the usual evening matches etc.
Ironically the down side of getting a job and some much needed relief to what has been a tough time is... the guy I was chatting to from a dating site has gotten more sniffy since I took the job and gets annoyed if I have been asked to come in for extra days or opt to stay a little later to help getting things done. Bear in mind we were planning to actually meet (and not just have vid calls) in April for a proper out-door restauarant meal... but seems to have gotten annoyed that I am not purely working at home on Britwatch as I was before.
Was supposed to have a video call last night after having had to prepare for a pre-interview assessment task this week (obviously still looking for journalism/press/comms roles) and I have noticed if we don't video call at least every couple of days, he gets tetchy. Everything is fine once we have a video call and have noticed that even just giving him a quick call before I have to do any tennis stuff annoys him - he would rather not have a quick chat and hold off for a longer video call... which has not always been as possible as before I had to work. Anyway - will see what he feels like when he gets back from visiting family for Easter.
I can't NOT work. I need the money. I can't NOT look for journalism opportunities in the mean time, because I want to try and make this second career work. Maybe it is for the best we haven't actually met in the flesh yet. He has said more than once not to take the extra work. But... I do have bills to pay, and that ain't gonna happen without more money coming in so... [/shrug]
Anyway .... back on Monday hopefully.
Before I was formally T2DM diagnosed in January this year, I had pins and needles, cramps in both feet. Also a buzzing sensation in my fingers. There was also hair loss on the calves which are now shiny and as smooth the proverbial baby's posterior.Good Morning and a whopping 7 for me today. Pork stir fry, could that be the cause? I doubt it counting the carbs, 2 glasses of red wine maybe? Cheese and one biscuit? These things have not pushed fasting bloods up in the past so I have no idea what's going on. Worried about Neuropathy though so need to re think my game. BG through day in mid fives.
Cool here and a promise of getting cooler as days go on. I'm off on a Muddy Cycle ride, Lycra tights will be seeing the light of day again. I need to get out just to calm a mind racing with frustration over fasting BG numbers and aching joints.
Keep safe and warm, Spring is being fickle.
Wonderful to hear from you Rosington Bear. Glad the Cave Dweller's temp work has been so helpful and the cake wasn't a problem for the kgs.Morning all... been a while but plan is to reintroduce Libre sensor to my beleaguered limbs on Sunday night. So hopefully back to posting from Monday.

Thank you for the links. Have bookmarked both and will listen to the video over the weekend.Good morning all. Colder with a wind that would cut you in half here for Good Friday. Swipey showed 4.5 @ 4.05 am rising to 4.8 by 5.20 am. What it was really matters not in some ways as what I eat and do won't change much for now but they will evolve. Friday will always be salmon salad day but the avo is under review. The changes will be driven by taste not eating to my meter. @BRSBRI borthday meal sounds as though it worked like a charm. @dunelm hug for early waking and low fbg. @Muddy Cyclist hug for nureopathy and fbg frustration. @Krystyna23040 not no cream just be very careful. 2 links for you: potted summary and a long (70 mins) video. Ribeye steak seems to be about perfect which is fortunate as it is my favourite if I must eat red meat. Pip Pip old toots and if I didn't tag ya doesn't mean I think any the less of ya.
Great to see you back and that things are going really well.Morning all... been a while but plan is to reintroduce Libre sensor to my beleaguered limbs on Sunday night. So hopefully back to posting from Monday.

I think the key thing, as you rightly say, is just what can each of us actually eat. For all the ideals espoused here and by The Illuminati we are humans with back stories and tastes. The whey protein and egg whites are good for me as I'm not shovelling dodgy red meat or eggs down my throat just to hit a random target. I will also be as happy as a pig in the proverbial to ditch fat and have the green light to ignore bacon. Happy days - I hope. It is, of course, the hope that kills.Thank you for the links. Have bookmarked both and will listen to the video over the weekend.
Really good news that Ribeye steak is perfect as I cannot eat low fat beef. We have got Ribeye steak for Saturday. I also love a Ribeye joint of beef.
Good that cream isn't banned. Have cut mine down to one tea spoonful in a cup of coffee instead of two tea spoonfuls - which has cut my cream consumption by 50%.
I will still keep eating nuts and nut butters and avo as I do limit them anyway because they really bump up the calories. This has got to be sustainable long term so it has to be a diet I enjoy - which is why upping my consumption of lean red meat is an absolute no no.
The option of adding whey protein to my meals is a brilliant workaround as I can up my protein without spoiling the enjoyment of my meals by having to force myself to eat more protein.
I would also have two very unhappy Labradors as they are the main beneficiaries of my inability to eat normal portion sizes of meat.
