Gratuitous pic of 'Marley'

Being a black cat, he isn't as easy to get that IG pic quality

Probably the best shot I've taken of him, showing facial expressions.

Oh, and a houseful of places to sit/sleep,
He of course chose Lauren's favourite coat, she unwisely Lay down in striking reach of the fur ball... Cats, huh, what they like

A brilliant painting with the three tone grades of the Chinese ink @dunelm

No hotXbuns here or Easter choccy

Afternoon one and all. Hope Saturday is treating you all perfectly!

FBG at 0645 was 6.0...so that's good!

Redid the stuff for @gennepher to find the file is too big for here
...by the time I worked it all out it was Arthur's trot hour. Got the pink newspaper for the weekend and a coffee which wasn't spilled. A miracle...

After breakkie of smoked salmon, capers and another coffee, MrsBRS and I jumped into Sid and headed to see daughter outside in the chilled air...she's looking well and obviously loves her fiancé to bits - just as much as she loves her piloting. 90 mins went by far far too quickly and then we planned to see her as soon as she's back from Ascension and the Falklands.

Used the iPad to check-in to the other one up in Glasgow as her finals are weeks away as we all stood around Sid the Stinger waving them both off. Sigh.

Now back home, sitting looking at the garden and my honey do dis and do dat list..

See you all later.

Lovely Brize - I have spent many an hour, day even, siting by the runway waiting to get into big birds to fly to destinations exotic.

Hi Ian,
Your right.
The R.Witham (R.Lindis old name) was on the Northern and Eastern side of a wedge of fen that reached up to near Lincoln, the Southern and Western side was edged by the Carr Dyke next to rising ground.
Once the Lindis crosses the flat land on its way to Boston and the Wash, you then have the proper Fen drained by the Welland, the Ouse and Nene, all feeding into the bottom edge of the Wash.
The river washes are great for wildfowl and swans in winter.
They have so exploited this land so that it has lost most of it peat derived topsoil, it will have fertility problems in years to come.
The land is way below the river levels as a result.
I think they should flood it all, but find King John's lost treasure first for a good cause like the Kings Lynn hospital!
Then Hereward may recognise it if he were to come back.

Thank you very much @BRSBRI

Downloaded it, reading it now.
Thanks for the effort you put into this.
It is appreciated.

What a kind thing to do Sir. Nice garden, very neat. Calvados is a great idea after the tidying.

A phone call from Californaye-a.
"Hey I know you've just gotten back home; any chance you could head out here sooner than week's end? Promise ya no more till June - whaddaya think"...

Before I could rustle up choice words "I've gotten my exec assistant looking into it. Oh, remember your annual performance review is next week".

Then I asked "How's Covid out there". Response "You'll be fine. Hot property you are Mister. We need ya"...

Gee thanks BUDDY
