Oh dear @BRSBRI@gennepher Sorry it took so long; I had to redo most of it. And after all that here's what happens
I will work it out shortly! View attachment 48586
A brilliant painting with the three tone grades of the Chinese ink @dunelmGood morning everyone from a lazy late in the day start here in the dark and dangerous north.
The wonder wheel of peeled and re-purposed junk food came in at 5.8 this am despite my best efforts.
Uber eats - let’s see what’s available? - Unexpected error - I blame the grandchildren but living in Birmingham they have a smorgasbord or even a Julbord of choices. “I fancy KFC”, pipes up Mrs Miggins - do they sell food? Could have fooled me.
Anyhow - I opted for large bits of real Chicken and ended up having to peel it as it was coated in something from a Kindergarten play-doh session in Mordor.
On the bright side, we how have a couple of coaltits fluttering about in the garden and hogging the bird feeding station.
picture today - a one brush, 3 dilutions of black ink and water on unsized rice paper. Hope you all managed not to gobble up any hot cross buns and look away from creme eggs. Time, at last, for koffy

And so we should.
I like the way you have captured the feel of glass/jewels in this art, good bright happy Easter colours also, winner.
Lovely Brize - I have spent many an hour, day even, siting by the runway waiting to get into big birds to fly to destinations exotic.Afternoon one and all. Hope Saturday is treating you all perfectly!
FBG at 0645 was 6.0...so that's good!
Redid the stuff for @gennepher to find the file is too big for here...by the time I worked it all out it was Arthur's trot hour. Got the pink newspaper for the weekend and a coffee which wasn't spilled. A miracle...
After breakkie of smoked salmon, capers and another coffee, MrsBRS and I jumped into Sid and headed to see daughter outside in the chilled air...she's looking well and obviously loves her fiancé to bits - just as much as she loves her piloting. 90 mins went by far far too quickly and then we planned to see her as soon as she's back from Ascension and the Falklands.
Used the iPad to check-in to the other one up in Glasgow as her finals are weeks away as we all stood around Sid the Stinger waving them both off. Sigh.
Now back home, sitting looking at the garden and my honey do dis and do dat list..
See you all later.

Thank you @gennepher and pleased to read that you have not bowed to the tempting morsels from baker, chocolatier and those secret govt laboratories that make creme eggs.A brilliant painting with the three tone grades of the Chinese ink @dunelm
No hotXbuns here or Easter choccy![]()
Hi Ian,Sounds like a great day. As for the boat race course that is our route into Ely. Yes, they have been drained and still need pumping engines to stop flooding - not always successfully around Welney and Denver as you will know. All year round the fields are irrigated for intensive cropping. Salad leaves are a thirsty crop but the big boys are going to Spain due to the deity of Sovereignty. Threatening to go lock, stock and radicchio. Towards the Peterborough. Kings Lynn edge it is more root crops, onions _Definite smell of onion harvest for a fortnight. and sugar beet. Massive machinery and all night working to lift the beet. Proper stink approaching Bury and Kings Lynn. My impression of Lincolnshire is it is like the Peterborough edge..
@gennepher I took out all the nice graphics and flow charts I did. So here's the chit chat without pretty picchures...
Hope it's of interest.
Here's the garden without a lawn...the tidying up I've been instructed to do in a howling cold wind calls for a nice calvados I think plus a foil blanket to look chicView attachment 48593View attachment 48595
What a kind thing to do Sir. Nice garden, very neat. Calvados is a great idea after the tidying.@gennepher I took out all the nice graphics and flow charts I did. So here's the chit chat without pretty picchures...

You mean henpecked?Ah, but they were free (and possibly too much information.) That should appeal to the stereotype which I'm sure doesn't apply to you.
Absolutely what I meant. What else could I have possibly meant? You mean henpecked?
A complete pleasure. No problems at all. I've found more he stuffed in a folder. Can I do it later?Thank you very much @BRSBRI
Downloaded it, reading it now.
Thanks for the effort you put into this.

It was busy today. Big things with propellers. Daughter yelled "there he goes"...fiancé heading off somewhere. That'll be why he didn't turn up to say "Don't worry I'll pay for the wedding".Lovely Brize - I have spent many an hour, day even, siting by the runway waiting to get into big birds to fly to destinations exotic.
