What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

was he outside at any point.?

maybe had a tasty snack or snaffled next doors foods ?

Hope he's ok and just a tad off colour today otherwise.
I guess your thinking similar to me, it could be something put down for rodents, I hope not, any suspicians one should be off to vet.

When someone was talking about the original variant from Wuhan they reckoned genes had been spliced from different diverse species Corona viruses, hence the belief it was a made up virus that escaped the lab.

For that we get 11 billion humans all at threat level and a lot of human grief.
Many will be upset if we dont unlock for a further four weeks and now the elderly are vulnerable again with the Delta.

Was cool this morning when I went for walk at 15 deg c.
Sun came out at 1430 and now warmer although still windy.
The Chimney Sweeper diaurnal moths were out in force some birds still singing and calling.

As a species, our worst enemy is ourselves - we are useless at learning from history and if we do learn, we then extrapolate into a future that cannot be known and wonder why we get it so wrong. We may never know for sure what went on in Wuhan but I can predict that those that shout the loudest will have the biggest sway - never mind the correctness of it. I try not to worry for my grandchildren about what self serving fools the planet will vote in to represent us as we hurtle closer towards the possibility of an irreversible climate shift. Cynical - not me.

a groundhog day 6.2..

trying to do more walking, etc so its affecting the post meal BG but not as yet the FBG.

Out to nephews, ( one who was in ICU jan 202) his sis, hasn't seen him since feb 2020

has moved from Glasgow, then to Blackpool, now down at Aldershot

just over 40 miles, hour and 15, our house, then on to collect niece, then on to his

Lovely to see them meet up after so long.

lovely couple of hours spent just chatting really.

Journey showed why i love the bikes so much in London
left Aldershot at 3;30, arrive back at nieces, 37 miles of the 40 miles at 4.40;

the next 3 miles take me another hour and 13 minutes..

and while stationary enjoying the scenic view ..cheers, Khan.

i notice a queue at a nearby chemists
"10 minute vaccinations."

Not sure if a NHS text and arrive or just show up, and get jabbed,
but certainly shows the NHS has upped the vaccine opportunities considerably.

if only we had such competent people in charge from the beginning not the money grabbing horde,
with a looser grip on reality then even Walter Mitty ever had

I feel for you with all that traffic down there in Mordor. It used to be wonderful when I was at school in Lewisham back in the 60’s. Good to read that you are increasing the walking - good stuff. Aldershot - that brings back memories - some better than others. “10 minute vaccinations” -what evil things are they doing to these poor people during 10 minutes? Is it pukka reserch?

I would have a stern word with your diary manager @Krystyna23040 (How does one ever learn to like ginger?)
I used to love the stem ginger cookies I got from Waitrose - both their own brand and Dutchy Organic stem ginger cookies with dark chocolate. I was so sad when I realised that I could never buy them again.

I have given my diary manager a final written warning. Oh hold on - I am the diary manager.

That deserves a hugunny.

Think it's possible he has been poisoned, by himself. This is a long shot diagnosis based on the fact that the over-the-road neighbours dog paid us a brief visit this afternoon and snaffled what appeared to be a long dead, partially eaten rodent, out of the stables. In a matter of seconds. If Errant had a mouthful or two of that...he might well have an uncomfortable stomach. Apart from the lack of appetite Errant seemed ok.
Anyway I put his breakfast in the bin. And didn't offer any more food until dinner time. He ate most of it. So he is feeling better.

Yes, dogs stomachs have acid that digests almost anything I bet they can neutralise bacteria!

Fancy trying to keep up with someone cheating like that?

a good shout, @lindisfel

i was more he might have sneaked a decent meal hunting or foraging so not hungry,
but that sadly is another possibility.
Errant us a poor hunter, because of his disabilities and broken teeth. He rarely leaves our property. We have about one and a half acres. He mostly stays close to the house though.

Brilliant you are sticking at this experimentation. Layers, a mysteryat the best of times.

Wow! I thought my day had been busy.

If Bansky can tear his picture to shreds and still sell it, why shouldn't you? A tidy little sketch and wash. Also moms are important and time given to talking to them is time in heaven.

Looks very good @dunelm
I hate those paper tears when they happen
