What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

If you have taken your photos on the iPad, I might be able to give you a couple of pointers on how to reduce the file size to post on here @alf_Josiah
But if you have taken the photos on a camera, then that is too taxing for my brain to work out today. I am having a lazy brain day today...

No FBG today, totally forgot.
Errant is still enjoying his antibiotic tablets, his voice sounds a little better, but his appetite for food has not recovered. Am worried this is because he is still eating clay... no idea what to do about that. Today he was licking soil that the farmers tractors had deposited on the road during the recent rain from the road. He is still eating molehills and he seems to be eating soil more and more frequently.
Am thinking I will try to get a video of this in case we need to return to the vet.
Meanwhile MrSlim is on the fourth coat of paint on the feature wall, it still looked blotchy this morning. He is planning to move onto the other walls today

Thanks for the thought. I took the photos on my android telephonic communicator. I do have a photo file size reducer app on my communicator, again if I can work out how to do it I shall post the address for that.

Ah! Then if you have photos on Android phone @alf_Josiah what I do is email my Android photos to my iPad. I have the same email on both devices. And download photos from email to iPad.
But nothing is always simple. There are better methods I think, but I get my knickers in a twist when I try them...
Good luck...

Somewhat rough today.
Tried to stop taking Gabapentin yesterday. Have problems in one leg and it seemed to be taking off my sciatica pain so I didn't sleep well cos I think it's hard to give up.

At 82 you still get concerned about your children. Eldest at 58 works too hard.

Hope all your concerns vanish into thin air!
Derek

Hug for Sciatica and worrying about your daughter. Julie finds Gabapentin helpful which does help her sleep better being a muscle relaxant. I'm a babe compared to you but I'd say a good night's sleep is worth its weight in gold compared to any concerns over side effects from or worries over addiction to Gabapentin. Take care fella.

Hugs for everything @lindisfel

@ianpspurs it is really horrible when the numbers go haywire for absolutely no rhyme or reason.

My memory may be faulty here but I seem to remember that your numbers started going up after the virus you had. If so, it is a huge puzzle as to why they are still running high - especially as you are eating really low carb.

Hopefully they will settle back down to normal soon.

Hopefully herewith the photos of the aforementioned made good step, Mrs J the fount of all knowledge lead me by the hand through the process of saving the photos to her cast off iPad, getting them on this program.

The top photo is the unmodified step, the large middle photo is the modified made safe to use step and the small photo is the step installed in the neighbours garage. All of the changes my grandson and myself made were using scrap off cuts of material I had. The most pleasing thing is it was my 11year old grandson who had the idea of just adding a step onto the existing step.

Thanks @Krystyna23040. I am doing some stabbo tests 10 mins before Swipey to compare but this may well all either resolve itself or show up when I eventually have another A1c. The last one was 18 months after the previous. It doesn't help that I've never really bought in to Elsie.

Brilliant @alf_Josiah
For both making the step, and posting from the iPad...

Excellent repair and good to know that your grandson is a good problem solver.

Hope you find that you can ditch the drug but the importance of a good night’s sleep cannot be understated I feel.

@gennepher and anyone else who is interested in with Mrs J’s help me and me’s managed to complete this task, if only we had the availability of a teenager , who as we all are aware know everything.
First we loaded the photos into a gash Facebook account, which shrinks the file size, then the clever bit, Mrs J accessed the Facebook account on this, her old cast off iPad, saved the shrunk photos in the iPads photos folder.
2nd opened this thread and used the upload a file from the iPads photo folder.
I would like to say simple, but whether I could repeat this without the help of Mrs J who knows.

Brilliant @alf_Josiah
I never thought of using Facebook for that purpose. Especially with reducing the file size as well!

So, all you need to do this is the same app/facility on two different devices.

Yes, I believe you could repeat it. Just a couple more practices and then you will be comfortable with doing it.

More pics please

Good morning everyone from a very wet and water bouncing start here in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of not a good night clocked in at 6.1 when I got up at 3am. Was it the restless night or the Naproxen, or a combination of both, who knows.

Books - all old accounts now sorted and made ready for the incinerator so now it’s the turn of books. Loads of them brought down from the attic. What to keep? What to donate to a charity shop? Tomlinson’s Comprehensive Guide to Northumberland will have to stay, as will a 1913 copy of the poetical works of Longfellow. I think that the Oxford Companion to Philosophy and some of the Shakespeare plays can be enjoyed by someone else. Recipe books - I thought that we had rid ourselves of those but up they popped - and down to a charity shop they must go.
Art today is just a wee doodle of a photo that I saw on the internet. Have a great day if you can, I am already koffied out.
