Sorry to hear that Ian.I hear what you say about Naproxen and I'm none too keen on suing it much. However, I'm not sure you worry about water damage when the fire is destroying the house. Investigate the cause of the fire later.
We may have royally confused each other. I meant I rarely use naproxen but at times the potential damage from over use and ignoring the instructions to take with food is trumped by the urgent need to free a joint.Sorry to hear that Ian.

Took me a few moments to find/see it @lindisfelI sure there is a grusome elephant rabbit cross sitting in the bottom R.H.side!
Hi Derek and thanks for that. I only take Naproxen mid meal for that reason. Today it will be off the pills to check pain management and then if needed, tomorrow some tramadol - I do tend to alternate as neither of these nasty things are very good in the long term. From my university days, I seem to remember that opioids like tramadol are no better than a placebo after a couple of weeks - and then their is the dependancy issue. What a palaver.Took one and two paracetamol last night and a lot more rested today.
Thanks guys it was good advice you gave.
Hi Dunelm, Naproxem is not a good drug for kidneys or stomach, a PPI can help the stomach but you sometimes have to ask doctors for them.

Listen Winston, “War is peace,” “Freedom is slavery,” and “Ignorance is strength.”Acerbic wit and in a left leaning outlet but I defy anyone to point out where she is wrong. Very funny even for died in the wool Wooster fans.
"I absolutely refuse to believe Boris Johnson’s decision to go jogging in Manchester in shorts and a business shirt is a desperate attempt to contrast himself with this flawlessly manscaped, spin-class-teacher’s pet."
Really tiny houses at the bottom of that protective semicircle of mountains. It is a comforting painting for me @dunelmGood morning everyone from the dangerous position of no rain here in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of “calm down vicar it’s only for a while “ came in at 6.2 again - grrr!
Rain stopped play yesterday (one of the things I picked up watching the cricket with my grandfather as a child). Finally (sic) sorted out all the books only to find another collection that had declared UDI as a library in their own right and at the time of discovery, already discussing hierarchy of text. Hopefully that is now done and two crates of books are now destined to be read (or flicked through if lowly recipe books) by other, appreciating eyes. Not sure about The Satyricon thought - sorry Petronius but it does go on a bit and how did I every come to have it anyhow? I did though find something titled “Make Your Own Working Paper Clock” and prefaced of course by Asaac Asimov (of course!). Looks complicated. The pages are stiff card with complicated shapes printed on them. The last sentence in the prefaces reads, “My impulse, though is to urge you to buy tow, or even three, copies of this book, since your second clock, constructed with the experience you gained with the first, will be better than the first; and the third will be better still.” - Asimov the marketing executive. I shall keep it for something to do during the next lock down.
Art - interpretation of another photo from the web with a couple of additions. Hope that you all have a marvellous Mittwoch. Must go and put the bins out and then make a well deserved koffy.

@gennepher I love your kaleidoscope this morning.Fbg 6.6
The wind got up last night and was severely beating my garden about. But all bird feeders are intact this morning. So, that is the most important thing...according to the sparrows and bluetits...and the male blackbird who has decided he is the resident blackbird in this garden and drives intruders away. Surely he is defending 'his' territory a bit soon?
My creative work today...
I chose 3 kaleidoscopes I did earlier. Combined them in Snapseed using double exposure again and again. But it was washy washy. So I took a photo of the round bulb in my lamp and using double exposure yet again, popped it in the middle. It surprised me by assuming an octagon shape, but maybe that was the effect of the kaleidoscope patterns.
Still windy this morning. sparrows are all feeding on their swaying feeders, and I am going to make a cuppa tea...already drunk my coffee...

Crisis what crisis there is no problem. You the voter wanted the new model we are creating?Listen Winston, “War is peace,” “Freedom is slavery,” and “Ignorance is strength.”
Thanks @ianpspursJust like that it became October 6th 2021 for one day only. C of E can't decide if I should remember William Tyndale (Woke version) or Faith, Virgin Martyr, of Aquitaine (BCP) - I'mma doing both to be safe. So, (when did that become such a ubiquitous starter for 10?) fbg huh? Tee 2 - after 456789000 ish attempts to draw sufficient blood reckons 6.2. Enough reasons to doubt that and huge variations from Stabbo yesterday but I'll go with that - suits my scepticism. I reckon I have a reasonable relationship with Elsie about 10-20% of the time at best but I'm not off hoaring after carby food (I can spell thanks). Decisions, decisions over books @dunelm - I bottled that and let removers pack 'em all. Hug for pain and winner for art. @gennepher, interesting take on what is important - bird feeders - and very colourful art. I saw the hugger which grew on my bladder in that piece. @Krystyna23040 you and the inestimable Mr K become even more shiny happy people by the day - good on ya, I need to avoid TV news and anyone likely to deliver details of the latest Pinocchio Fest from the Gaslight Man lest I destroy expensive equipment. How long oh Lord, how long?
Lovely and interesting patterns emerging here. Very organic , all reaching towards the brightness in the centre.Fbg 6.6

Thank you @gennepher - I thought that a couple of houses and a few trees might like to be in that spot.Really tiny houses at the bottom of that protective semicircle of mountains. It is a comforting painting for me @dunelm
