Yuk - mice in cupboards is truly horrible. I would SCREAM also.Speaking of mice - last night discovered they have been on my pantry. Enraged to find two bags of expensive fibre flour contaminated, lots of other food had to go as well. MrSlim says he cant keep them out of the walls. I don't care if they are in the walls. Just seal up the cupboards!
It's an extra job I could do without, floor to ceiling pantry cupoard needs emptying and cleaning. Everything in it will have to be washed. Two other cupboards as well and they have been making messes in the oven. SCREAM!!!!
Hate having mice in the kitchen.
I do hope your family recover quickly.Hi dunelm I managed to get through to Jaxs mum last night he’s quite poorly but then find so is his mum she had been in bed when I called feeling very unwell. Hopefully she hasn’t got the adult form of Chickpox which is Shingles they are painful and nasty infection to have, they are having a run of bad luck at the moment but she is a teacher and unfortunately today both parents need to work so Jax has to be in nursery apparently it’s doing the rounds so no surprises that both are unwell.
But strangely enough my grandson Jaxs father is type1 diabetic and he’s come through upto now without any illness where his wife has had Covid but Grandson didn’t catch it, but I’m not complaining, so far we have had 4 of our family members that have had Covid all have come through it very well except youngest son but not surprising has his paralysis from spinal injuries is at chest level this stops the lungs from fully inflating. He’s been left with Long Covid he’s working from home from start of Covid he’s a finance manager at local council. I’m so proud of his accomplishments especially has he was in spinal unit throughout his early years when he missed out on school and in those times schools for children with disabilities didn’t get the full school ciriculum because lots of children in these schools need medical treatment and physio during school time. But he went onto college to do his GCSEs and in his employment he took exams to qualify him for the job he holds now.HE IS A FIGHTER so glad he’s like me and so deserves to get on in life Good Grief this was supposed to be a short update on Jaxs Chickpox sorry for babbling on, Aftermath of staying in for 22months during Covid but I’m more than making up for it now booked 3 breaks in UK and 2 holidays abroad upto now we have missed the Sunshine for too long and it so helps my Osteoarthritis can’t wait. Enjoy your day everyone will be signing off for a few days see you later.K. PS BG this morning 7.7 after my Coffee it’s gone upto 8.4 but this always happens after my Coffee even though I’ve gone onto decaffeinated coffee. K
Blimey, let’s hope that Jax’s blisters have crusted over to ensure that he is now not contagious. Covid - we had it last month. Luckily it was very mild for us but we do still need to be careful. All the best for your planned trips.Hi dunelm I managed to get through to Jaxs mum last night he’s quite poorly but then find so is his mum she had been in bed when I called feeling very unwell. There will be a biscuit party going on somewhere. Don’t let the media know! Smashing piece of creative.Fbg 6.7
Going down again...
A night creature stole my full box of cat biscuits from 'Gennepher's Cat Diner' last night.
Who was the culprit?
I have just gone round the garden.
No remains of the cat biscuits box.
I blame Foxy Loxy...
It might have helped if I had not forgotten and left the box on my swing last night...
Creative today. A creative for no reason. Two photos taken. Played with in various photographic apps, then combined as double exposure in Snapseed...and hey presto after I put a silhouette in...

All the best for Scan the ManGreetings all. Hmm, what did he mean by that? What's he getting at?Swipey still boxed whilst all sorts of rays and waves may fry me or it. Scan appointment for 3,30 today made mid post. Very 21st century problem yesterday and this morning. Family meal yesterday was important and tasted good. COVID wise stupid idea in a town with an infection rate 2x average and a 92 yo MIL present. Food wise IMHO there is quality evidence on both sides to suggest LC (mine was), alcohol (red wine to control any spike as much as possible) and fat from lamb shoulder (red meat in general?) not the good it claims to be for me or the environment (meat from carbon offset source). Maybe it all depends on which Alternative Truth suits you? My day ended by watching a tribute to Christine McVie recorded for me by JKP. I do so love Songbird. Off to the gym at 10.45 with the Bill and Hil anthem uppermost in my mind. Very optimistic for me but I've fallen foul of not considering "but what if things actually work out?" before. . @Granny_grump_ hug for Jax; @Krystyna23040 hug for puncture but winner for Mr K and fbg. @SlimLizzy hug for the mice and extra work. @dunelm and @gennepher thanks for generously sharing your gift.
@ianpspurs hope your scan appointment goes well.Scan appointment for 3,30 today
Glad it was sorted easily @Krystyna230404.8 this morning. Surprisingly low because I only did just under 6k steps. Could there really be a connection between drinking lots of water and good blood sugar control.
Another puzzle is that my resting heart rate significantly improved as soon as l started drinking more water.
Managed to get a puncture on Saturday. Mr K has just got back from the Tyre place. Luckily it was repairable as it was caused by a really small stone.

I am liking the paintings on these big sheets of paper. It is giving you so much more freedom of brush stroke @dunelmGood morning everyone from an as yet quite sunny morning here in the dark and dangerous north
Lots of lazing about yesterday interspersed with sprinkles of fetching, carrying and moving stuff. Yes, Mrs Miggins decided to sort out the dining room and got the paint pots out. I was attempting to be patriotic, watching programmes about Mrs Queen celebrating 70 years in the job. Not a good start in the 6 Nations, unless you are French of course. Mixed curling going well though - lumps of granite and brooms - imagine the excitement.
Art - another large sheet of rice paper and a bit of pale colour. Hope your day is kind to you. Time for my koffy.

Maybe drinking lots of water gets rid of sugar through more visits to the bathroom4.8 this morning. Surprisingly low because I only did just under 6k steps. Could there really be a connection between drinking lots of water and good blood sugar control.
