Morning.
FBG just under 8.
Been like it last few days
Did too much Thursday.
Wrist has been aching constantly.
Had tried reducing meds, but now back on and upped by docs, for now anyway
So yeah, stress/illness..that covers the rise.
Thank you all for the ideas of stress balls.
If I might ask
I have looked, and sizes do seem to be off by a large amount .
Am I right in assuming I'd need balls of a sufficient size to rotate in Hands ?
Some I see, look rather too large.
A guess that ping pong ball size would be close ?
Other then that it's been two days feeling rather exhausted, as sleep due to aching had been hard to come by.
However I lay my arm wrist is either pressed up or down, sufficient enough to induce pain
Undecided on strapping
Have tried strapped up & left uncovered
Both have their faults. But wrist strap on wins a finely decided contest...just
The sheer frustration of not being able to find a comfortable position to lie in, ggrrr .
Also rather annoying is the round robin of info I keep getting
Hospital A..Close to crash site but miles from my home
Hospital B..not my nearest but closest for trauma care.
Spent last few weeks being told if I want referral
...I...ME ?...must tell my GP.....
Err .ok .I do that....mmhh
Then told.. I ..ME ? Must inform hospital A.
Mmhh.
Now told I have no authority to ask for referral, it MUST come from Hospital B.
And last week I had referral to nearby unit, who very politely explained they didn't offer the kind of treatments I needed...and I should get hospital B to try to get me referred there .
Okey dokey...
Hoping I can get some resolution this month.
Fingers crossed
Have a good day all.
Nice & sunny here in Londongrad.
We had a lovely walk around the Blickling Hall Estate and Mr K really enjoyed his sausage roll.enjoy Blickling Hall and it is only right and proper Mr K has the bestest sausage roll NT can offer after that soaking. Our labs, badly labelled as Springadors, would have dealt with #turdgate in the same manner.
I love this swirling upwards @dunelmGood morning everyone on a wonderful sunny start here in the dark and dangerous north
Bit of a disaster darling last night as girl in the bubble decided that 2am was time for breakfast and did that special cacophony that infants do until her demands were assuaged. Luckily she then settled back down and we all slept until well gone 8. Kitchen fitters tomorrow so dining room table is being turned into a camp kitchen complete with kettle, microwave and slow cooker. We may be eating out (gasp!).
Art bit - another large sheet of unsized rice paper. I hope that your Sunday is especially good to you. Meantime, I simply must replace my empty tea mug with a full koffy mug.

Today's is very majestic @dunelmGood morning everyone on what looks to be a promising day under a clear sky here in the dark and dangerous north.
Managed a walk into town yesterday thank’s to girl in the bubble and her amazing pram. Return was a bit of a struggle - slowly, slowly and such a fuss over a mere slope of an incline. Our kitchen is now all Old Mother Hubbard, well the first verse anyhow - no coats no hats no wigs no shoes …What a palaver @jjraak with hospitals and doctors admin folk leading you a merry dance - I hope that it is quickly resolved and also that the excellent information from @gennepher gets your hand moving better.
Art bit today - not entirely as I would have wished so will have another go in a while. Have a great day if you can. Best get some koffy organised before the kitchen fitters arrive.

Lovely colours @gennepher. Yes, I spotted Popeye.Fbg 6.7
I stayed in the potting shed watching the night sky after it got dark.
The potting shed is out of the way of intermittent security lights of the neighbours.
Consequently I can see stars in the sky.
The temperature dropped below freezing, and the night sky was absolutely clear, and the stars were massive!
So I stayed in my cosy bed in my potting shed bed and just watched.
I had my hearing processor on and everywhere was quiet.
Until about 11pm, when something spooked me mooching around in the garden. It came to the open potting shed door, but I could not make anything out. I am sitting in darkness...
I came in.
Creative today is a kaleidoscope...again!
In Laboscope app, pointed to the sky.
Popeye may almost be too small to see...not sure yet...
Got to get on with the day..
More tea and coffee first...

Thanks @Krystyna23040Lovely colours @gennepher. Yes, I spotted Popeye.
Delicious!4.9 this morning. Have just had one of my 1:1s cancelled so I have a longer break between classes in the lovely pub across the road. Have already decided on my food - chicken topped with crispy bacon and melted mozzarella and cheddar cheese with a lovely mixed salad with avocado.
Ooh yuk, fox mess is awful. We had a dog who loved to roll in it and was almost impossible to get the smell out, even after several baths.Fbg 6.6
This morning, the midnight creatures had polished off all the dry cat biscuits.
'gennepher's cat diner' operates 24 hours. But night time hours is dried cat biscuits only.
And so I went out to replenish them and to add the daytime menu of wet food.
Horror of horrors. A turd in the dry cat biscuit bowl. I know who I suspect from this pointy turd, but I took a photo and asked Google to ID. Google says confidently, that is a slug. Well, you know what I think of Google now.
I check out on the Wildlife Trust the ID of wildlife turds. It was Foxy Loxy. The ingratitude! And so all bowls are in a bucket of hot soapy water in the garden. Ginger (cat) comes in, and looks at me.'I can't eat soapy bubbles,' 'You'll have to have a word with Foxy Loxy', I tell him. Ginger takes a determined path into the undergrowth.
I come out with a couple of prepared clean dishes from the bungalow, and Mrs Blackbird is hopping round my feet impatient for the dried cat biscuits. I explain to her because of the fox and the turd, 'gennepher's cat diner' is closing for nighttime dining for the next few nights. But it will be fully open in day time hours from 7am until 5pm. 'Oh that's okay', says Mrs Blackbird, 'I can store some in my spare nest'. And proceeds to take the dry cat food as I am still trying to pour it out. 'Oh by the way,' I say, 'Could you tell the hedgehogs, that the soup kitchen will be open from 6pm to 7 pm, until nighttime service is restored. And I will put the kitten dry cat biscuits out just for one hour for them.' Mrs Blackbird flies away.
A turd in the food bowl indeed! And after polishing off the dry food. That is not on.
Creative today.
The next set of kaleidoscopes will be from my back garden. In the Laboscope app. Popeye thinks he has a good hiding place ?!?
Time for loads of coffee and tea....

Sympathy for the painful wrist, your description reminds me of the time i had tennis elbow and how impossible it was to find a comfortable position in bed. So many hugs and hope the wrist recovers enough to allow peaceful nights soon. How very frustrating the hospital runaround must be.Morning.
