Bloods this morning were 4.5, a calculating causing number, I can recommend not practicing plinky plonky with low blood sugars, the C#minor sounds just the same as Hbmajor but your hand position is totally different I think.

Here in Tilehurst Towers we have a dental appointment, always an opportunity for merriment and acute embarrassment for Mrs J, who successfully on her part trimmed my beard and trimmed my hair yesterday. I shall forgive her at some random point in the future.
Congratulations to @gennepher for her ingenuity and also to @dunelm for painting various scenes from the Falklands.
Stay safe all and always have a clove or several of raw garlic just before a visit to the dentist.
 
Hi @ianpspurs - I fought those demons in the late 90’s with the help of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I am part of a presentation team later this month on the subject of The Falklands so hopefully will be fine.

Thank you for replying. I was very unsure whether to ask or not. As for deleting, please tell your friend Sky+ has both lock and undelete facilities for anyone having relationship issues. I hope the presentation goes well.

Unfortunately technology is not at the stage where I can attenuate the 18 workable (4 wires failed on implant) wires (channels) naturally in my one ear, whereas your brain can presumably attenuate/whatever the few thousand or so channels (or whatever they are called), you have naturally in each ear. My channels are fixed wires (is the best way I can explain it), but yours are naturally organic and have learnt since childhood how to fade out most sounds (except maybe the most annoying one) that you do not need to hear!

Well, this is more than I had before the implant. Maybe there will be a more organic Cochlear Implant one day...

But the addition of the way you are painting the colour on at the moment, is another independent complete drawing in itself. Both are equally as good, is what I am trying to say...

Fbg 6.4

Raining nearly all day again yesterday, and quite cold as well.

The Bluetit family came in very early, 4:30 am, despite the pouring rain. Mum came in with two babies first, and a minute or so later Dad came in with the one baby bluetit.

Mr Blackbird is screeching furiously from the cover of another bushy tree, and does a fly past, actually through the Bluetit family. The little baby bluetits are getting very good at speedily evading the blackbird.

He has lost his right to be in my garden. Even I feel animosity towards him. He has turned too aggressive for no reason, and even his missus doesn't want him any more. She is never with him now. I was out yesterday morning posting some letters in a postbox on a geeen, and I was watching a male and female blackbird on the wet mown grass feeding together companionably, almost lovingly towards each other, and I thought why cannot my pair of blackbirds be like that. Mr Blackbird's missus still comes to visit me, and this was her garden before she paired with him. She was born here. So, I shall refer to her hernceforth as Ms Blackbird. She has done the married thing and has decided it is a pile of rubbish with this male blackbird. She watches me from the ground as I am in my weird raised vegetable garden, and I always have cat biscuits for her in my pocket. She comes up to me, tilts her head sideways and I put some cat biscuits on the ground for her. She does eat the snails, and also the wet and dry cat food when she can dart in between the cat customers.

Mr Blackbird has made friends with a starling yesterday afternoon, and they flew in my garden side by side, together, yesterday afternoon. I was outside in the the mizzle doing a couple of things in my vegetable garden. Mr Blackbird looked at me, and so did the starling. It was like they had a conspiracy going. The starling couldn't latch on to my bird feeders because I have taped up the top of them. He flew away first. Mr Blackbird screeched aggressively at me. Then left.

I hadn't seen Little Miss, that extraordinary teenage sparrow, all day. The suddenly late afternoon she came sweeping in. She literally commands the whole garden when she comes in, so obviously her domain. And she was closely followed by a GreatTit and his (?) two babies. A couple of days ago I had rigged up a couple of new suet feeders for the small birds. The GreatTit chose one of those new feeders for his two babies, and they were feeding off it for a bit. Little Miss sat on on a high branch keeping lookout. Then they all flew away together. The GreatTit was stunningly beautiful with his black head.

And Jade came in 3 times yesterday, breakfast, dinner, and for supper. She is still dragging the wet cat food to the undergrowth to eat it, but she is not as frightened of me as long as I stand still, although if I as much as move a muscle she is off.

Just fed Midnight this morning, and he is loving, and purring. I can stroke the whole of his body now, and he doesn't think I have an ulterior motive. I do have a couple though. I want to brush him, and check out his ears...

Creative today is some digital artwork, and Midnight and Jade.

Time for another cuppa...

Greetings one and all from what promises to be a passable approximation of a summer's day in a very atypical area of East Anglia. Fun and games in Westminster yesterday. Nadine overheated spectacularly and black is now officially white. Meanwhile Ingerland V Germany foot the ball to watch tonight after minding the same two grandchildren as yesterday. My lawnmower activation key arrives between those two events - be still my beating heart. Thank you so much for both the not so wildlife update and creative @gennepher. @dunelm thanks in advance for the art. Go easy on that koffy and ask before deleting precious moments. Take it easy people and let's not forget the spirit of harmony (other hairsprays are available) flowing just a little too freely over UK during the stretch Limo Jubilee.

Good morning everyone from beneath another dull and miserable sky here in the dark and dangerous north
So pleased that I broke the waking up and getting out of bed record last night, Noris McWhirter missed most of it as he fell asleep holding his stop watch.
Chemist today to pick up a selection of pills and potions and then over to the optician to pick some new frames. It’s all happening up here.

5.7 this morning. Our early morning dog walk was lovely this morning min the sunshine with the birds singing.

Talking of disillusionment and parties at the palace, Palace of Westminster that is. What a shambles on all sides, if things are not put right the only winners will be the media, who will proudly boast we brought down the government. This is only my opinion of course. We as a country need leadership, we as a country have so many enemies throughout the world, the nearest being just 21 miles away. I just wish the self serving politicians and evil doom mongering media realise what they are doing. This is my view on this whole matter, I have no political opinion, just want the best for our nation.
Rant over.

All self inflicted and worse will inevitably follow - it is what he does and always has. Absolutely nothing to do with any meedja but hey ho. We as a country need Johnson gone urgently then a swift dose of reality and truth. That is leadership. His bull whatsit is really smelling bad now. Can I interest you in a bridge or timeshare on Pluto? Friendly Bantz - opinions are like thingamejig holes, we all have one.
