A break from the internet is a good thing from time to time @alf_JosiahGood Morening Ladies and Gentlemen, is not the done thing to wish you all a happy funeral day, yes a sad occasion, but I shall not miss the banal media coverage.

Well fellow posters and painters this will be my last post for a week or so, I will be off line, don’t panic I do this a couple of times a year, well I always try to.
Be good you know me, me’s and myself won’t be.
Try and stay safe.
Ah, so you worked in catering?Good Afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen and all who celebrate and or will be celebrating the end of the banal medias coverage of the sad demise of her majesty after tomorrow.

Blood sugars this morning were an unexpected 6.3.

Good to see @karen8967 posting hope all is well and of course @lindisfel.
Fortunately I can’t join the discussions on fancy low carb food stuffs, I have found through bitter experience I need medium carb to function, low carb discussions make my eyes glaze over, a little bit like metallurgy in a totally different life I once had. That was before I entered my profession as a paid supplier of pleasure to ladies and retailer of instruments of amusement for ladies.
.
Stay safe all.
Wood burner sounds comforting this cold weather @dunelmGood morning everyone, a mixture of a sad day and also the prospect of new beginnings if that is your bag. My employer for 30 years will be put to rest today. A pal of mine has been doing rotations at the catafalque in his Yeoman Warder uniform and will be on duty all today so no bank holiday for him. Do ATM’s also go on holiday with the banks? We lit the wood burner last night - first time since it was installed in the spring. Marvelous, and the addition of a little fan sat on the top worked a treat.
Art bit, adding a bit of detail, not sure yet if this will be a night scene or a day scene. Have a pleasant a day as you can. I feel the need for another koffy.

I had a 3 in the early hours also which has left me with a headache this morning and feeling a bit (a lot) under the weather. My liver over corrected and I was in the 6s by 6am. Interestingly my resting heart rate was elevated overnight.4.4 at 5 am. That was because I had to take a correction dose before bed last night. I was up in the early hours when bg was 3.8 but took some pills with a teaspoon of yoghurt and the result was 4.4 four hours later. Rising now on the strength of 2 cups of tea.
I hope being with you today is of help to your sister who I imagine will be impacted by the event. Hugs, thoughts and prayers for her and you.6.1 this morning. My sister is coming over this morning and we will watch the funeral and then have lunch.
A hug for the low & 'off' feelingI had a 3 in the early hours also which has left me with a headache this morning and feeling a bit (a lot) under the weather. My liver over corrected and I was in the 6s by 6am. Interestingly my resting heart rate was elevated overnight.
Do you get headachy after readings in the 3s?
A hug for the allergy and a winner cup for ur BG .4.5 this morning. Have done the dog walk and the weekly Aldi shop. Now relaxing with a coffee.
My Autumn mold allergy got really bad yesterday so I had to up the allergy stuff and feel much better today. It seems to have struck earlier than usual this year.
I get headachy when I've been in bed for more than 3 hours, but it goes away when I get upright. I usually start to feel odd around the 3 mark - sweating, shaking etc. Sometimes I'm in the 2's before I feel anything. Just as well I have a Libre.I had a 3 in the early hours also which has left me with a headache this morning and feeling a bit (a lot) under the weather. Hi Dunelm,Good morning everyone from a pleasantly cool start here in the dark and dangerous north. I did notice this morning that the heating had kicked in - that will have to stop. Can’t be having all that expensive luxury going on until 21st December, we need to get the wood burner going and dig out the string vests, Damart leggings, Norwegian jumpers, Fair Isle Keps, Arctic Gloves and socks. Uneventful journey home from France - just as I like it and no sudden surprises of replacement bus services on the train.
Art bit - didn’t get much done but here is a start. Have a smashing Sunday if you can. A brisk walk is cheaper than running the central heating at full blast. I need to open a fresh bag of koffy.

Hi @lindisfel .Having difficulties with this new format because I keep getting redirected to the beginning a decade ago!
D.
Yes, you are right that it was a help to my sister. She mentioned her husband several times during the funeral. We watched until the Queen's coffin reached Windsor and then walked her back home.I hope being with you today is of help to your sister who I imagine will be impacted by the event. Hugs, thoughts and prayers for her and you.
