Wildlife nighttime camera...
Cats and the swing.
The first cat was Jade, with the white back legs, but she doesn't take up her position as guardian of the swing any more. But she comes many times in the night to get on that end of the swing to eat the cat biscuits.
The second cat, is black cat Amy.
The third cat is ginger cat, Merlin who appears white at nighttime on the trail camera. And he takes Jade's old space in the middle of the swing. He also eats, several times at night, what I always think of as Jade's cat biscuits that are always on the swing.
Jade appeared several times during the night, and so does Amy. Amy seems to have become bolder since Jade is now not on the swing.
Midnight, who was originally the cat in the middle of the swing, is often not in the nighttime trail cameras now. He has become firmly ensconced as a house cat, or if he is checking from a distance he is often the eyes watching and observing, but not in this video.
This was a very busy night of cats. About 250 clips for me to look through, but I condensed it into a short clip. The fox, Foxy Loxy, with the big brushy tail, was skulking around, but he was always hidden in the darkness or tucked away under the swing between cats appearing...so you don't get to see him in this video...

Thank you very much for the painting compliment @alf_JosiahGood Morening Ladies and Gentleman and those who wonder about all the strike’s coming at the same approximate time, collusion, enemy action?
A 5.0 on that meter this morning. Oh drat, Mrs J has just arisen from her pit / lair and I must make her tea, back in 3 stirs of the tea bag…..
Tea made and delivered, which hopefully will ensure me, me’s and myself’s survival till I next open my mouth saying something or other.
@gennepher, interesting painting today, makes me think of soft focus camera work. Well done.
The BBC’s work of science fiction and fantasy, the weather forecast is predicting almost tropical weather for today and Mrs J is planning to plant out some pansies she bought yesterday, I view them as colourful weeds. I shall do whatever I’m told. Hmmm
Stay safe and look for fun
It sounds as though it was a good day yesterday @dunelmGood morning everyone from a bright and sunny start (again) in the dark and dangerous north. As long as we continue to get the “we are all doomed” reports of snow storms, I shall expect days of sunshine. Surprise visit from cousins yesterday, on their way north in their swanky camper van. They are heading up the coast for Banff over the next few days, where another cousin lives and then who knows - no plan, no time limit. Today is “hunt for the insulated backing paper” day - not really a hunt as it’s all click and collect. Art bit - nearly finished the details. Hope you all have a frabjous day. Time here for a koffy.

Thank you very much @ianpspursMorning all from an oh so dreary me deary Little America ™ distinctly sub-optimal. I'm conscious that I can come across as a self-righteous Old Testament prophet (eerily accurate description of the here and now those guys had) kinda fella so sorry dudes. Humans are premium products created by love to love and be loved. The perfect conditions for use were provided by the maker - twice actually because we make lousy use of our free will. Those charged with ensuring this precious creation is given the optimum conditions n the UK branch have made an almighty horlicks of it and customers want some contrition - seems Brexit/COVID/Putin etc mean none is available even if they felt any guilt. Since one must assume rationality there must be guilt - weakness, negligence and own deliberate fault (full house). I may (ahem) be arrogant but we deserve and are capable of so much better. Equally, many here have a variety of issues which make daily life sub-optimal - #metoo - is that arrogance?. I am constantly reminded of the variety of ways people here carry their own cross with such dignity. Once size doesn't fit all Ian - unlike my new beanies. Anyhow. @gennepher thanks for the video and creative which I will look at a few times to try to appreciate properly. @dunelm thanks for sharing that sturdy structure. Who or what prompts you to feel the need to conjure up such security? The missile seems like fake news. Mrs Miggins sounds such a sweetie. Today I must keep my appointment at the waste recycling centre - a rubbish tip in plain English, I hear ya @Annb (so many blessings in your family) - to dispose of the packaging from JKP's new fitted wardrobe "lining." So snuggly fitted I needed to smack the centre section down for her. I can do that type of DIY. Then orf to the town of horses and midget jockeys to collect some noise cancelling headphones - price is ouchy (John Lewis were cheapest) so they best be good - and mayhap make a small purchase to qualify for a free coffee - do the headphones do that if not I need celery. Unfortunately, I have been a very bad boy so I must endure lamb chops since they have been in a freezer for about a year. Whose barmy idea were they? MIL likes them so that's good. All of this made sense in my head and as it was leaving my fingers but may have been irreparably damaged in transit. Have a good day even after reading that.
Thank you @gennepherIt sounds as though it was a good day yesterday @dunelm
Brilliantly detailed structure, feels nice and solid, unlike today's life.
Hope everything goes well with the treatment for her leg.Took the Duchess to Carlisle hospital vascular clinic this pm. They are going to try to sort out blood flow that possibly caused the lesions on her left leg. The consultant was a very nice guy and sounded Italian.
I find a lot of doctors in hospitals nowadays are not British nationals, they are usually very pleasant with a good bedside manner, but some of the old British consultants take the stance of superiority to us lesser mortals.
D.

Lamb chops and enjoy in the same sentence. Have you taken leave of your senses man?Thank you @ianpspurs and enjoy those carefully donated lamb chops from the past.
Hope everything goes well with the treatment for her leg.
Sounds like a perfect day, to me.Yesterday the sun was so bright, it was blinding. I sat on the warm/hot side of the window with Midnight. He loved that sun, so did I. I didn't do much all day except try and capture this blinding sun. .
