Wildlife nighttime video...
Cat Merlin sees Ghost Cat #1, a Badger, & a Fox (Foxy Loxy) who is curious of Merlin. This particular badger couldn't care less about Merlin.

Creative is a digital painting in Procreate.

Time for a cuppa!

Good morning everyone from a very pleasant start here in the dark and dangerous north. Video call with my mum yesterday - she is forming a scooter gang. No, not some Quadrophenia set up with parkas, just a few old folk on their mobility scooters for “strolls” round the park and along the river. Think re-runs, in B&W of Dr Who and the Daleks with William Hartnell. Art bit - some more scratchy detailing. Have a smashing day if you can, I shall probably walk into town and then decide if I should walk back or catch the bus. But first, koffy.

Good Morening Ladies and Gentleman and all who played tag in the school playground.

Blood sugars this morning were 6.0 again.

Today in Tilehurst Towers will be an unsupervised day, I would like to say that the day is my own, but Mrs J has left a task list, which will be lost as soon as her dragon powered broom stick has disappeared from sight.

Now I must depart from this site, plinky plonky practice is calling.

Stay safe, warm and away from Boris the beast, it seems president Putan wants to send him a missile or something like that.

Hello from, no not the other side Adele, just Strangeville. Somewhat of a one horse town where the hoss left town years ago but Putin will be well aware of what replaced the nag. Pretty sure he will think better of sending a missile here. Sunny here today - oh wait that was yesterday. These are the wonder years. Wonder what day it is? Must be Monday today as MIL is off to Newmarket for bloods. Not an armful Tony just the odd vial or two. The $45 million per year man defied an ankle injury to enhance his legend and wealth I assume There's no place like Mahomes. I want the Eagles to win the big show - dish out the Hurts Jalen and make the City of Brotherly Love ecstatic.. @gennepher some fat rear end on that badger and Foxy Loxy still has an outrageous brush. Thanks for the creative which, to my eyes, is the last word in blasted heaths. I'll call it Ted @dunelm good on your mum and your and reminder of a blissful day nearly 50 years ago. Sun, Quintaphonic sound and an Augustus John exhibition in fragrant company. Thanks for the art which will be stunning when fully revealed. @jjraak Finger on a bit of string? - no idea please enlighten me. Do enjoy your day which is far easier if one doesn't try too hard or follow the advice of lifestyle coaches, especially 58 seater ones with air con, loos and hot drinks on board.

You're ding dang right we are fella. As for the rest of y'all - bull manure may not be as protective if push ever comes to shove. If Rishi couldn't properly stab BJ in the back I don't hold out much hope of him pressing the button.

Finger on a bit of string? - no idea please enlighten me
The idea of one hand holding one side of an item.
And the other, rather blindly reaching to locate or put it into place via a screw, bolt or nut.

Too awkward to eyeball the piece into position.
And mere gnats wings away from locating or engaging into place.

Which might as well be miles, if you can't join the parts

That is when the finger on a bit of string
or an extending finger,
Or
elongating neck to see into or over said item to guide visually
Would all come in mighty handy

All just variants on a finger on a bit of string
A much wished for impossible item.

Usually prayed for by good Anglo Saxon utterances, as frustration makes one go all route one and
reach further & harder then is good for one

Bruised knuckles & fingertips the only return on the prayers investment, sadly.

Then it's back to the drawing board for inspiration .

And a little reflected muttering
"It's only meant to be a 5 minute job :banghead: :banghead::banghead: . "

Thanks and hugs for such situations. I usually called dad or now No 3 son who was trained by his grandfather via sitting with Nellie from a toddler. Failing that the Viv Nicholson method. One body, many members. I don't expect my toes to see for me but I'm hugely thankful for those blessed with excellent eyesight as it were. Hopefully, somewhere along the line we all contribute our unique gifts. I have no idea what mine are/were or may have been if I'd thought a little.

True. .
But the sense of achievement though the job is done is lacking .

I might be odd, but I'd think some of your yard work likely fits .

Being able to do something, that perhaps is beyond others or was even beyond you once .

That you could pay someone to do, for you

Is, by itself rewarding, imho

Much I can't do where I have to default to others

But much I can do or apply myself to, that I can attempt with some confidence.

And if I fail.
Then it's wallet time

Mmhh.

Depends greatly.

See a big target when you're about to go all out & avoid it ...mmm

They call it first strike for a reason

And any hit on the UK would surely bring the site fully into russian eyeline regardless ?

And a strike on any big city, achieves a devastating blow.

So regardless of the hit/s locations, none of us would miss out on the pain.

Let's hope the thesis is never, ever tested.

Speaking to my brother last evening and he was telling me about his frustration at not being able to do all the things he used to do. He is 80 and still not fully back to strength after his open heart surgery in April but he is going shopping, helping to clean the house, decorating, gardening, putting up shelves, revamping the bedroom layout, moving furniture, rewiring lamps ... the list goes on and on but he is bemoaning the fact that he had to pay extra to the carpet layers to move the larger items of furniture from 2 bedrooms when they laid new carpets last week, or that he had to get someone in to install a new shower room suite. His conservatory has a leak somewhere on the roof but he did agree with me that he shouldn't attempt to climb up there himself, so he'll have to pay someone else to do that for him. He does say that he nowadays lacks confidence that he won't fall over. What to do with such a man?

Just stand back, admire and keep your fingers crossed, I guess.

If one doesn't watch, your life can become dominated by ones family one usually knows when one is taking on too much.

The next door neighbour of Abigail at York is a extremely fit old man. He must be c.88 and takes his sail board on his roof rack to Filey to use it on the sea. His wife died a few years ago and he soon found another partner. Good luck to him he lives a full life.

Think I may have been annoying Judith of late as she said I was irritating her I advised her to take some antihistamine tablets .

Which lying dictator do I believe....mmhh

( Ps...it's not johnson ;) )
Interesting that the read out of the call never came out or wasn't released to back up his story. Talking of forgetfulness, I can't condone Zahawi but I wonder if he was pale, male, stale had attended an elite public school and gone to Oxford would the story ever have seen the light of day or would the wagons have been circled if it had as per he who cannot be blamed. Sources allegedly claim Zahawi feels the r word may be behind his sacking. If true it is ironic that the anti woke crusaders may be riven by being victims of not being woke as the term was originally used. Surely not?

Just snakes turning on themselves, is my guess.

Each trying to damage the next one up to bat who wasn't chosen by the selectors.

All so the chief snake can come back & save everyone

Noted someone tagged him on twitter as 'Missile Johnson'...

Sounds apt.:hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:
