Any advice. ?
I know it's "time"
But is there anything else people can suggest to improve my stamina ?
I am cycling, some walking & gym twice a week.
Work one day on, one day off at moment .
Due to staffing I have been asked to work twice one day after the other...(no blame I did agree to save upsetting rota)
But if I do all the above in one day, I'm fine the next.
However 2 workdays back to back, and the next day I can barely move from the bed ?
Not really a drama queen, and I get "it was a big deal" as family keep reminding me...but it's starting to bug me.
First world problem...but
Basically I'm looking for any short cuts back to better levels of stamina .
Cheers, my homies .
Sorry fellow greaser, but in my experience their is no shortcut. Which comes first your long term health or somebody else’s staffing problems?Any advice. ?

When you see them in the countryside in good health they are a bonnie animal and good to see, even if the farmers don't like them.Thank you for sharing the creative. I'm liking the title. Very cheeky bunch of Reynard's . No wolf but plenty of the attached characteristics.
Sadly there are no short cuts. It is a gradual build up of strength. However, if you add Eccentric Strengthening exercises your progress will be faster.Basically I'm looking for any short cuts back to better levels of stamina .
Thank you, that was an interesting article @dunelm@gennepher (and anyone else interested of course). My mother has today sent me this link from France about Hokusai. It’s in French but should translate (it did on my IPad).
Hug for the body not being able to cash the cheques the mind writes. MIL (93) keeps asking if she can help. The unspoken reply is yes by accepting you no longer can. It's our turn. Anyone can tell you do and always have done all you can which is all any of us can actually do. Incredibly hard to accept and I would wager a small fortune your daughters and Marjorie tell you frequently. My father and grandfather both seemed to think they were still in their prime right up to the absolute end. In granddad's case literally hoeing beet. Obviously I have inherited none of their traits. I use a chainsaw, used a ride on lawnmower and power tools for a start. Draw the line at a log splitterWent into local town today to take Marjorie to the bus for Tai Chi and pick her up when she came back. Then after lunch I went sleep in chair so I know what it is to be exhausted the last few years, I keep telling myself I am going to get going again, but I must admit I keep remembering what Bilbo was like when Frodo saw him again at Rivendell.
He was old and fading, soon to go to the Grey Havens!

If I use Eccentric silly walking for my local walking the locals will think I have lost it completely.Sadly there are no short cuts. It is a gradual build up of strength. However, if you add Eccentric Strengthening exercises your progress will be faster.

Likely my bad wording.Sorry fellow greaser, but in my experience their is no shortcut. Which comes first your long term health or somebody else’s staffing problems?
Thanks @dunelm@jjraak, body weight exercise are probably going to help. Push ups, long squats (stay down for a count of say 5-10 before standing up), jumping jacks, burpees, mountain climbers and of course up and down the stairs (don’t stop half way or you will forget why you are on the stairs - or is that just me). Water - a sign of not enough water is fatigue but don’t over do it like these so called fitness experts as you will pea away valuable salts and start to turn to blancmange.
Its the way animals develop strength, like the guy who advertised dynamic tension, Charles Atlas.Likely my bad wording.
And I agree entirely .
It was more a mistake was made & I felt ready (no one pushing me)
Then the sad realisation I'm not what I was before..(but I plan to be as close as possible, given time. )
Thanks for the positive feedback.
Always appreciated.
Our minds feel ready, we can remember the before. So, an easy mistake to make when agreeing to do the two work days on the trot. Was it about a month ago you last said that?Likely my bad wording.

All you can do is give it another month or so before you agree to that again. You won't know until you do another two days together.
I cannot advise on type of exercise, I know nothing about that stuff.
But, I do visualisation when I am having difficulty doing something, in order to get where I need to be.
I started this in the 1970's. So, that was the last time I read stuff on it.
I just googled 'Visualisation to reach a goal'.
Loads of stuff there.
You would be better researching yourself for what might suit your needs.
But here are two links...

You can probably find something better @jjraak
EDIT: I do my visualising in bed before I go to sleep...
The second link says you should do visualisation before, during, and after training.
I had read a long time ago, you could use visualisation for recovering from injury.

You are getting good at these short films - there are awards for short films out there and you can bag an Oscar - best done from behind and with a sack and some cable ties. Another splendid lighthouse.Fbg 6.6
On the wildlife nighttime cameras.
Cats being wary because of foxes about..
The foxes were about in the previous video of the same night
The night of the Foxes.
The Cats
There was over 45 minutes worth of footage on the cats, and I condensed it. There was a lot of watching going on.
This occurred in between the foxes coming, and taking most of the cat biscuits, in the previous video. Normally they all feed frequently off the swing during the night, despite the foxes and badgers coming in, but not this night they didn't. They seemed quite wary of the swing and a couple of cats declined to eat any of the cat biscuits.
I didn't have time this morning to download a new sd card and sort the clips, so I extracted the cats from my previous sd card, and put a video together on that. Putting the cats together on one video made me realise their behaviour overall was different...
