What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Good morning everyone from another amazing round of International Bin Day here in the dark and dangerous north. Girl in the bubble over last night - a bit miserable and a poorly tummy. Oh the joys of being three years old. I expect that she will still be wanting to go for toast and butter at the cafe. Art bit - colors added so thats that. Have a splendid day if you can. @alf_Josiah, I hope you are coping with all these positive readings. Koffy - time for lofty.

Your drawings turn into a 3-D picture with that addition of colour, it is brilliant!

Have fun at the little one's visit to the cafe for toast & butter @dunelm

Magnificent.

Good national bin day Morening Ladies and Gentlemen, now here’s a question is it a good morning? The answer is always yes if you woke up. Also yes if you can plot / scheme some amusement into your day.
Blood sugars this morning were a 5.1

Here in Covid Central which was formally known as Tilehurst Towers we are now into day number 16 of testing +ve , but this is the price of being on anti rejection drugs or immunosuppressants as they are sometimes known. My energy levels are slowly getting better and I’m desperate to tackle those outstanding projects, which seem to be increasing daily.

I like the daily geological and lighthouse paintings keep up the good work.
Now it’s time to finish my safety koffy, take medication and get on the wife’s nerves, Mrs J is not a morning person, shame, never mind.

Morning all. 5.3 via Swipey which doesn't float my boat but hey ho. Would be interesting to see what, if anything, immunotherapy does to bg. Late stage Swipey isn't very reliable so I'll be none the wiser really. I don't intend to eat their biscuits or drink their coffee, wonderfully kind though that is - waitress service as well. Still a mission to get there due to roadworks but the Venerable RR manages/ has up to now. @dunelm amazing transformation with colour added. Hug for TGIB. @gennepher another moody lighthouse. Thank you both. Targeted murder in my old village yesterday :bigtears: My favourite area as well. I often walked the dogs in the woods behind. They were once land where my father grew strawberries, gooseberries and potatoes. Wonderful views of 4 churches. He had heard the clocks strike 4.0 am whilst picking strawberries before his proper day's work :wideyed: @Annb best wishes for the trials. @alf_Josiah hang on in there. As if there's anything else you or any of us can do.

Lots of positives in the post, but a hug for the reason to make the journey , light of it though you make .

Have images of you bouncing over fields, being thrown up in your seat at every bump in the landscape, with the odd "tally ho "

Hope the day goes as well as possible .

Intrigued by the quoted text..

EDIT:
Landed here first.
Just read the news...awful .

Hug for the gitb...poor wee thing .
Hope the legendary restorative powers of toast can heal her asap.

Another vote for 'impressive' on the art .

Such intricate detail must take a certain eye.

Bravo.

BG a bit higher this morning. That might be because I dropped my basal insulin dose from 58 to 54 units as suggested by the diabetes nurse.

4.30 am 7.5, 6.30 am 8.9, 8.30 am 9.1. Took a small dose of insulin before breakfast and we'll see how we go.
Hug for the balancing act.

If it helps, I found my body was very resistant to change when I started changing my diet after DX

The expected drops didn't come immediately as I hoped, it was almost as if my body suspected I was trying to poison it for a few days or so, before finally realising I wasn't and eventually settling into the next level down

Almost like a game of poker.
First to blink loses.

Best of luck playing your hand.
Think it's a good un.

Fbg 6.7

The Fox & the Badgers

The 1st to appear is the Fox who was determined to get all the cat biscuits he can .

He also appears to be looking on the swing to find out where the cats are, because there is often a cat sitting on the swing, guarding the cat biscuits.

Then along comes the badger, KissyKissy, who is determined to snaffle all the rest of the cat biscuits on the swing. He bought his mate along, but she's not interested in the swing at all.

Badger KissyKissy is determined to get every cat biscuit off that swing. He makes a couple of attempts of actually trying to jump onto the swing, and falls down. He has seen the cats jump on the swing, and the fox also jump on the swing. In an earlier video this badger pushed the fox out of the way as the fox was about to jump on the swing. Finally this night, he pulls off the cat's bedding at both ends of the swing. And leaves his 'message' on it all...

I am wondering how long it will be before I can post a video of this badger actually getting on the swing. This badger is determined enough.....

Do you think he will achieve this goal of his?

This badger was watching me in bed in the early hours of this morning through my full length glass door from bedroom to garden...I have a small led light on if I am awake in the night drinking a cuppa.

Creative is #12 Lighthouse in Procreate

Have your best day.

Time for a cuppa here, the sunshine outside is calling, so is the bully Marmalade cat who is determined to make friends with me with the slow eye blink outside my bedroom full length glass door...he wants more food. But he doesn't know that people on the online neighbourhood site have posted photos of him saying he is breaking into their houses and eating their cat's food....

Thanks Alf.
And hugs for you to give you the energy you need...

Extra hugs for you.

Sent credit card payment by faster payments earlier in march, only the bank transposed two Credit Card numbers on faster payment form and payment was rejected.
Now I have been penalised by C.C.firm but told them what happened and they waved the charge back but I have to pay the interest and think my credit has received a mark.

Not impressed, the banks never lose do they.
I had not had a statement for nearly a month and the money going out was matched by the money coming back in which was not labelled, and they don't have a system telling them this has happened.

I had a very low blood pressure after breakfast of 98/55 which was due to my breakfast of three eggs fried in olive oil plus half a Pink lady peeled and sliced. Not many carbs either.
I bet it rocketed after getting my credit card bill.:)
