What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Friends, a little sombre news for those who knew of her .

RiP Goonergal.

Yes, you are right about secrets hurting people. It was all about 'saving face' and not about being honest and truthful. Living a lie like that must also have damaged them.
Yes it did damage them too, because I can now replay the past (I have a good memory), and I can understand how deeply hurt they were....

Afternoon here is very sunny. hope it is where you are. Communication let me down - well JKP - as 2 grandchildren arrived a day earlier than expected. Grandson very loathe to leave my lap until afternoon - teething - not me. Paw Patrol festival today. Between childcare, care home/only social care going for many of us Tech Bro and Jez need to rethink wrinklies working till they drop a la Victoriana. Empire ii as most experienced it not the nonsense in Britania Unchained. @gennepher and @dunelm thank you both for sharing the art. @Annb I hope move more hasn't left you with move less for a few days. @Krystyna23040 I hope the rest is going well.

Wow. Such sad news. She was so helpful to so many. RIP Goonergal

Thanks Ian.
Hope you are enjoying a quiet cuppa...

Smashing colours

I never thought of the temptation you must suffer Dunelm with having good fish and chips on tap!

We have just been enjoying the sunshine sitting out in the garden until Farmer Bell up the road started slurrying.

You've got a real friend there Dandad!

I am so looking forward to arriving at McGarrett Plains. It has definitely been a difficult journey since I came off the rails over Christmas.

We will drop in to see you as soon as we arrive.

That is such sad news.

Yesterday loads of sun, so I put rocking chair in garden.
Lovely...
I can't stay there all day...
Can I?

Consequently I didn't download and edit any new sd cards...
So above video is one saved for such 'emergencies'...

Weather app says wall to wall sunshine today...

Have your best kind of day...I am going to...

Beautiful colours. Reminds me of early morning and the prospect of sunny days on the coast.

Good morning everyone on yet another splendid start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. Interesting 5.4 on the stab of mirth as a small chish and fips were consumed for breakfast at noon yesterday. Now I have to wait a few weeks sans treats. Got some washing to hang on the line and then I expect it will be a wander into town to inspect the menu at our local cafe. We certainly won’t be walking down and then up those cliff steps. Best wait until inner chimp chucks the experience in the bin (probably by the end of the week) and then it will be, “oh, now here’s an idea…” and off we jolly well go - well for the first bit. Art bit - some more squiggles that will now need some colour added to them. Have a smashing day if you can and sit in as much sunshine as you can grab. Best have some koffy and then get that washing out. Or is it the other way round? No, that’s silly.

Having problems with my new pacemaker. The last one ran 9 years without a hiccough, this one has long periods with an irregular heartbeat which I can feel it is not kicking in all the time it should, will have get onto Newcastle later.

Marjorie's off to Carlisle this am, but I will be on Zoom later to other old men, but didn't tell her so she will still go to Tai Chi which she needs!
Sometimes. it's better not to throw little stones in the mill pond, one gets a clearer view of one's reflection.

It's a glorious day in Cumbria and I shall have to put my hearing aids in so the birds start singing.

Best wishes to all
Derek

Morning all and it is sunny if chilly here. Two different grandchildren here today one who has come dressed as an angel to tell us the one minute version of the Easter story. @lindisfel sound advice from a wise tribal Elder. @dunelm thanks for sharing the art - is that washing hung out yet? @gennepher thanks for the creative which has the appearance of a minaret to me. I hope you can enjoy the sun with time in the rocking chair today. I'm off for some bloods to be taken shortly. How much fun can a guy have before lunch?
