Ah - technology. I don't have a mobile phone any more. I do have an Amazon Fire Tablet which does have a camera, but I don't know how to get pictures from it onto my laptop. I do have a Neil though and his eyes are better than mine. Must ask him to check for me.I found that with some labels
Solution that worked best for me was taking a pic on mobile phone & enlarging print once snapped .
Thanks Ian...you and your minarets!!!!Hello everyone on Good Friday in a sunny but chill in the shade L. A. @dunelm what an action packed day yesterday was and today sounds just as much fun - such blessed children. Thanks for the art which I too took as stained glass. @gennepher thanks for sharing the creative which I absolutely see as a minaret. @Krystyna23040 hugs for the fbg and also for the tragic memories. I deleted a post which prompted @jjraak to refer to the woman in Northants since I was only referring to US military personnel whilst "in action." No grandchildren scheduled here now until the family meal on Monday then four on Tuesday plus (perhaps) another great grandson and two granddaughters for MIL. I trialled some keto wraps yesterday (all good if much softer than normal ones) and had a phone consultation which was as reassuring as possible. Bloods all normal so current regime can continue. Very unwoke wording in a BCP collect today (Have mercy upon all Jews, Turks, Infidels, and Hereticks) but sadly remarkably current in so many ways. Enjoy your day however you decide to spend your time. Some of mine will be spent eating salmon salad, drinking lots of tea since I seem to have a big dose of hay fever, then, later, watching the latest Pilgrimage programme.
Yup!I know it's paddy fields, but it has the air of a stained glass window. Beautiful.
Edit: Sorry - that was repetitive - I posted my reply before I saw that everyobne else thinks it looks like stained glass. Great minds ...
It is a lovely day today weatherwise, isn't it?View attachment 60222
Glorious....can almost feel the spray in the warmth of the wind as we sail by...
Thanks for sharing
Fire tablets usually have a poor camera resolution....however that's not to say it won't work.Ah - technology. I don't have a mobile phone any more. Can you take a photo of the ingredients on the vitamin B bottle and then, and I'm presuming you don't have a phone camera so you could take it on your laptop and then enlarge the picture and then you should be able to read itBG at 3.30 am was 12.0! Either my liver is taking the unintentional fast as a spring cleaning opportunity, or it's whatever ails me right now causing havoc. Feeling stronger than yesterday but having to take extra pain killers, still shaky (more trembling than shaking), cold and ringing ears. Haven't got around to checking BP but I suppose I should. Pulse feels nearer to normal, so it's all on the up.
Three days ago I started taking a vit B supplement. I wonder if that has anything to do with it. Don't see how it could, unless it has something in it that I can't tolerate. Print on the bottle is too small for me to read, even with glasses and a magnifying glass.
That all sounds very positive and good news. Have you tweaked diet or taken supplements to up the B vitamin intake? Can you take a photo of the ingredients on the vitamin B bottle and then, and I'm presuming you don't have a phone camera so you could take it on your laptop and then enlarge the picture and then you should be able to read it
Another way of reading them is to Google online the actual bottle, and find a manufacturer list of ingredients list that way.
By the way, I upped my Vitamin B intake slightly.
And I am noticing a difference for the good on several things.
I have been looking at loads of YouTube videos on it, and how the different B vitamins help different things.
Now, my left thumb is locked, trigger thumb/finger. It has been like this for years. I did all the usual advice at the time, but t finally locked in one position.
It is now moving very slightly. And very slightly bending.
One video I watched, actually I watched a series of videos from this guy on Vit B vitamins, said one of the vitamin B vitamins could help with locked/trigger finger syndrome. I can't remember which one. I did take a screenshot but it had gone on to the next section of words...
I need to look for it again, just get that B vitamin, and add that for a few days or weeks, and see what happens.
I think it was B6. I also have carpal tunnel syndrome (I was prescribed splints for that, and was told an operation was the next option), and apparently it can help with that as well...
The guy I watched was this...
I have just added an edit on to this post which explains the yeast flakes I have just ordered. That all sounds very positive and good news. Have you tweaked diet of taken supplements to up the B vitamin intake?
Oh, are eggs still in short supply elsewhere, I thought that was sorted now I'm seeing loads in-store again ?I have just added an edit on to this post which explains the yeast flakes I have just ordered.
Yes, I have tweaked the vitamin B's
Now with eggs, I cannot always get them, and prior to lockdowns I had them every day. But lockdowns and recent shopping stuff means again there is a shortage of eggs. And I am making an assumption now that when I can't have my eggs, then I am going to be depleted in those B vitamins.
I need a spreadsheet to track all this and when to add extra of whatever B vitamin ....
Thanks and I just saw the edit. Shame about eggs being hard to obtain locally. The attached are screenshots of how the app I use - Cronomter - analyses the B vits as well as others. It also deals with carbs, cals, protein etc. Imho easier than spreadsheet and will store foods and recipes frequently used. Also breaks down how each food contributes to nutes/vits/carbs. You may or may not find it useful. I know several members use it.I have just added an edit on to this post which explains the yeast flakes I have just ordered.

For us - it's just another one of those Island things. People here used to keep hens - and we used to sell free range eggs, but most hens here were truly free ranging, housed in general purpose barns or sheds. That all ended when the bird flu restrictions came in so we have to depend on supplies from the mainland and, as we have discovered, those are not always reliable.Oh, are eggs still in short supply elsewhere, I thought that was sorted now I'm seeing loads in-store again ?
There might be loads of eggs where you live, there are not loads of eggs here. Shops have been empty and I've been asking when are the eggs are due, and so I found one with due on a Tuesday. And so it's always waiting for the delivery...Oh, are eggs still in short supply elsewhere, I thought that was sorted now I'm seeing loads in-store again ?
Oh Gennepher, at least I have Neil to do the searching for me. When I was young (1950's), my mother used to buy "fresh" eggs from David Greig's in Canterbury. They had come all the way from China so I don't know how fresh they really were. Where do eggs come from now, I wonder. I know many of the packs we get are British, but do other countries export eggs to the UK?There might be loads of eggs where you live, there are not loads of eggs here. Hard work hunting for eggs.
Lidl had some, and I thought great. But it was only one box per customer. They are not even going to last me the week.
So, petrol, driving, searching, expenditure of my energy and so on...no wonder I nap for the rest of the day when I get home.
Thank you @gennepher and pleased that you find it comforting.I love the colours in this @dunelm
It is like a stained glass window, with the lead round all these pieces of coloured glass. I find it peaceful and soothing and comforting...
There's always time for coffee!

We have loads of eggs - get ours from the butcher, I know! He get’s them from a local free range farm just outside town but tells me that they have been restricted to the barns lately due to avian flue.Oh, are eggs still in short supply elsewhere, I thought that was sorted now I'm seeing loads in-store again ?
@jjraak absolutely no need to apologise for your post (nor @ianpspurs). I have also followed the Harry Dunn case as it also struck home for me. I don't mind being reminded of what happened as I never want to forget my sister.I would have deleted my response too, @ianpspurs but then responses after it then make no sense.
I had understood the connotations you meant.
And I'm afraid the original incident at the time, struck home with me for his family, & in my defence clearly runs deeper now than I thought.
And for all our talk, a family still grieve for a son.
I know we'd both agree, that loss for them is deserving of a small prayer.
RiP Harry Dunn.
@Krystyna23040 .
Apologies for my post stirring up memories of a tragic event.
that is a brilliant idea @jjraakI found that with some labels
