Yes the Anglican cathedral has got a huge vaulted ceiling it gives one vertigo looking up.If I walk about 100 yards from my front garden, I can look across and see them both!
And regardless of how and when, the old red edifice, is aesthetically and architectural far superior from across the river!
But I do get the modernity of the wigwam, which is huge inside, like the tardis! Ha!

My father told me @lindisfel that that David Sheppard had taught him to play cricket, and told me to knock on his door, and that he would remember him. I didn't live far from him. The Bishop's residence was easy to find. I got to the gate, but I chickened out...never regretted chickening out....His name's spelt an interesting way Ian!
Not being interested in cricket I never saw on a scoreboard.

We had a lovely walk around the grounds of Blickling Hall. We left home at 8am as the walking is very slow with almost 17 year old Archie - who actually walked over 3 miles today.
Mr K had coffee and walnut cake in the Muddy Boots cafe.
When we got home I received an email from a class member who thought that part of an exercise sheet that I had given out to class members for homework was ambiguous.
When I re-read the sheet I had to agree with him so I carefully reworked it and sent it out to my 19 classes and several 1:1s who I had also given the sheet to.
I was so grateful to the class member because I realised that the exercise sheet that I was going to hand out tomorrow (which covers a harder version of last weeks homework) also had the same ambiguity. That sheet has now been reworked and is all ready to hand out tomorrow.

I never met him but David Sheppard always seemed like such a nice man. Oddly, we didn't really follow the cricket, but we felt as though we knew him. Nice touch, a couple of eagles circling.Good morning everyone on a splendidly quiet start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. 5.6 this am. Well the sun decided to shine throughout the day yesterday so the grass got cut. It was also my dad’s 94th birthday. Him and my mother went out to lunch at their favourite restaurant. Mrs Miggins, as well as her twin sister and two of their aunts are at this moment traveling up to somewhere between Aberdeen and Inverness for a family gathering at the home of some ancient Pictish uncle. Funny old bloke, wooden legs but real feet. Hunting Weathered and dress tartans have been packed and this weekend was spent brushing up on her Doric. I have elected not to attend. Art bit, some colour added. Hope your day is a pleasant one. Best make some more kofee.

That keto biscuit recipe looks as though it could be adapted to suit me. I'm going to try it with hazelnuts and raspberries and no sweetener and see if it is acceptable, or even works.Morning all from a dull start here in the Exotic East's least exotic but very Americanised area. Y'all can even pay for some things in dollars. @Annb hopefully a good rest today after a successful Sunday. I baked some keto biscuits yesterday. Turned out fine but I will add either more cinnamon or the blueberries, use a rolling pin and cookie cutter next time @lindisfel hug for the early start to a busy day. I hope all goes well. @gennepher your dad was blessed to have learned his cricket from such a teacher. @dunelm thanks for sharing the amazing art and congratulations to your father and Mrs Miggins' Uncle. @Krystyna23040 well done for asking when unsure, always hard. The modern way is for the nervous to leave post-it messages/ electronic requests for more help. I'm glad it may prove useful and best wishes for the tweaks . There are loads of recipes in the same place so some may also be useful. My next foray into baking may be this. The Food Fairy will tackle the cinnamon doughnuts and bagels with the new silicone togs/whatevers: onion powder for the bagels, cinnamon for the doughnuts because they look very similar.That keto biscuit recipe looks as though it could be adapted to suit me.
