Not sure what is happening at present. Oxygen level dropped to 92% and pulse is currently 98bpm. BG also around 11. Not sure if this is a reaction to something or what. Resting isn't doing much - well it did bring pulse down from115, so that's an improvement. Going to take it easy and forget about making food. Should be joining a Zoom meeting at 7.30 but I suspect I shan't bother.5.3 at 4 am (took painkillers midnight last night so slept a bit longer).
Chest has been a bit tight the last few days (hangover from Covid in 2020) but I couldn't find my oxymeter. Finally found it yesterday afternoon and it showed 94%. Could be worse and it's up a bit this morning to 95%. I should be having my covid and flu jabs next Saturday but not sure if I should go for it unless saturation rises a bit more. A full week to improve, so it might be OK and not need a decision.
Just made a pile of blueberry muffins to take to a pot-luck brunch tomorrow and will be making a low carb breakfast casserole (it's a recipe from a keto website and looks very much like a complicated frittata).
Had a short visit from my friend and the 2 brothers she has taken under her wing (12 and 14). I am ashamed of myself because I can't warm to them - their behaviour is so bad. I think my friend is hoping to improve them by example. I try to remain polite but firm. Their father was taken into care when he was a little younger than they are now because both he, and his elder brother had ADHD and their mother (a widow) couldn't cope with them after she lost her husband. Their father has turned out to be a very reasonable individual and I hope they will but they really are a handful just now. I don't think either of them has been said to have any learning issues. They are both talented and pretty bright. I wonder if they'll be brought to the brunch tomorrow. I am a bit anxious about that.
My oximeter gives a reading down to 90% at times whereas Marjorie is 99% most of the time. I do have a collapsed lung and also had a heart attack earlier in year. My pace maker makes the heart rate just above 60 b.p.m. at rest. but it drops to 35 when electric pacing switched off at Newcastle last Tuesday and I later felt strange. Not sure what is happening at present. You have a heart full of love and kindness.Very thought provoking piece, and I absolutely agree with it.
I am determined to like these boys even if their behaviour pains me. I know that others had difficulty understanding Neil, although I didn't have issues with him. He was mine! And I understood him. And, of course, I loved him. As time goes on I will find what is good in these 2 boys and I will welcome them into my house and find pleasure in their company.
Apparently, the job of government was being run by the wife of the prime minister, before, during and after covid. I wonder if the current incumbent is being manipulated by the wife and her father and the money of india!Great afternoon with the grandkids, cheered me up no end and a few laughs with no8, so feelings are back to normal, I even helped Mrs L with her bathroom routine smi!ing tellng on him for throwing her cushion into the bin, aiming for me, but missing! He is a loveable handful!

Conspiracy theories are abound!!!
I do agree that this piece is very thought provoking @ianpspurs. I found this piece thought provoking. Do enjoy your day whilst sweeping your own side of the street.
Just the perfect amount of colour @dunelmGood afternoon everyone on a wonderfully sunny autumnal day here in the dark and dangerous north. 5.5 this am. Washing on the line and then a wander into town and round the Farmers Market. Two loaves of proper sourdough - one beetroot and one seeded, made this morning so won’t get cut up and put into freezer until tomorrow. Kimchi, two packs, made by a nice Korean woman. Art bit, just a bit of colour added, not much. Hope your day is being kind to you. Already had two koffys so tea it is.

No idea.How did that happen?
Just too lazy to bother, as the endless holidays, non cobra attendances, etc, etc, etc.How did that happen?
They mention Redcar quite a lot, they seem to get in a tizwas about the boating lake!Oh I missed that so will have to look it up now.
There are a few artists that frequent a care home nearby who work with the residents doing creative art. Seems to really help in all sorts of ways. People are always moaning about the boating lake for one reason or another - perhaps the council use it as a moaning magnetThey mention Redcar quite a lot, they seem to get in a tizwas about the boating lake!
