Smashing creative piece and pleased for you that the fennel tea is working for you. All the best with explorations into FODMAP.Fbg 6.8
The Fennel tea suggested by @Lainie71 yesterday is working. I can move around now, but the trapped wind is still there, and not so fierce...but it is still making me tired. I have a lot going on at the moment and so that is probably not helping.
I have been looking at the Fodmap way of eating as suggested by Derek @lindisfel
My first reaction was, I don't to blinking want to work out something else new...I did do some research before I fell asleep last night. I must have taken a lot in and remembered it, because I woke up this morning, my brain said we could do this instead of that, and wouldn't you fancy having a little of that because it fits in with the Fodmap way of eating and you fancy having a little of that...and so on....
Okay Brain, you win, I will incorporate it, and I'll take more readings to keep an eye on it.

Creative...a painting I never finished in Procreate, and I created a double exposure with the trees outside my front window which has raindrops on it....and that is what you get!
I am ready for an afternoon nap...problem is, when I open my eyes again, it will be dark...
Have your best day...
A cuppa first...

Oh dear. And just as things were looking up, well, up-ish - up is all relevant. Ribs are always a problem when damaged so I hope you can at least get into some comfortable position for rest.Morning team D.

Hugs for many with issues, high fives to those with great fbgs.
Someone got shouted at last week....
It appears a silly little spill (a dark & wet morning) from the Ebike on the way to work, left a few bruised ribs, along with a fetching bash to the cheeks/jawline (bluey/yellow, just so autumnal).
No one really noticed, until I stupidly disturbed the ribs by carrying an overly heavy rucksack over one shoulder a week later (bad side) rather than both as rucksack maker intended .
Cue lack of sympathy, as I collapsed like a cheap deckchair, under the withering interrogation that ensued, once it became apparent one of us couldn't lay down (or sit or stand) without a grimace at the pain as the ribs creaked & groaned under pressure.
Did the shouting help me, nope
But it did relieve a little pressure valve for Lauren, so there is that ...lol
It was concerning the other day, and had me considering a trip to A&E, as I over thought things, as the pain spread from just side/back to the front part of ribs too.
But it does seems to be easing, so maybe a few more days rest before I'm needed back at work, might just be all it needs.
God bless & best wishes all.
I doubt it's a real skill, but I'm always a little surprised, if I drive someone elses car how that seems to be such a common thought .I am really envious of people who can just get into any car and drive it.
Oh my goodness @jjraakMorning team D.

That splash of colour really makes the Art Bit @dunelmGood morning everyone on what appears on the surface to be a pleasant begining to the not dark part of the day here in the dark and dangerous north. Tinges of red in the sky mind, so it could all collapse into a drenching at the drop of a hat. Note to self: no hat juggling. 5.9 this am due mainly to not eating any birthday cake but did nibble a bit at other things. Just when do nibbles become canapés or horses doufers? Art bit, some shading and a splash of colour added. Hope your day is a Sunday, mine seems to be. Must be time for a koffy before the house groans into action.

Hug for the worry.this morning.
Had a call from City Hospital yesterday about the IPF advising me to stop the medication for a few days as I’m having problems with the side effects and was also advised to avoid infections and that if I do get a chest infection to call 999 right away bit worrying really may have to start wearing mask again maybe
Indeed.Friday, meds duly arrived.
What a kerfuffle!
As if I haven't got enough to concern myself with
Hope things are improving, @lindisfel .I am afraid I have to be chained to my portable comode like Jimmy Young use to be as Terry Wogan joked so I can't go and look for the Waxwings in Carlisle.
Hugs that's eased for you @gennepherthink I have eaten too much cauliflower. It was nice, but I have very bad wind. I do have problems with IBS. Last time I had wind this bad was June 1977. How do I remember? Simple. I was pregnant. I am certainly not pregnant now
I think THAT was the gist of Lauren's 'rant'.Oh dear. And just as things were looking up
Indeed.Obviously be careful of wet leaves and manhole covers this time of year...
It has helped a lotHugs that's eased for you @gennepher
Curious how you made the fennel tea, not one I've tried before.
I apologize but I gave a funny for that xIndeed.
I take full responsibility.

Lined up & for some unknown reason aborted as I approached it.
Cue front wheel catching pavement edge, twisting as it slid along paving stones, before depositing in slo-mo, one foolish rider who doesn't act or know his age.

The winner is for visiting your friend and the kindness of the driver. God bless and keep you.7.5 at 0230 today and up to 8.8 before breakfast. Insulin before breakfast and now it is 6.3.
Visited an old friend yesterday afternoon. She lives about 25 miles away in the Lochs area of the Island and isn't able to get out these days after a great deal of ill health, several falls and a car crash when she passed out at the wheel. She's a bit more than a year younger than me, but not wearing so well (as if I'm as fit as a younger person). I couldn't get there myself so my always-so-helpful friend took me in her car. We had a pleasant couple of hours together but I was completely shattered by the time I was delivered home again. Didn't help that my old friend has four steps down from the road, into her garden. I knew they were there so was prepared, but it wasn't easy to get down (and later up) the steps.
BG was 4.5 by the time I got into the house, so had a RyVita with some liver pate to keep within range. Then it actually rose to 8.8 before bed time. Not surprised at the 7.5 this morning.
Many thanks, @jjraak I finish my antibiotics monday teatime. DerekHope things are improving, @lindisfel .
