What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Taking the duchess to Tai Chi in Carlisle for 10, its so much more comfortable and quicker for her. I get to wear my heated waist coat and a short trip to Sainsburys for the toillet, and if I find time drags I could make it drag more by listening to womens hour.

Cats & Badgers this windy night - Fox was about but off camera, or between the video clips (there is a break between one video clip and and the next, and there were about 200 video clips of Storm Isha of nothing, just trees and plants waving at the cameras), the high winds kept triggering off the videos), Foxy left his pointy hat message... outside my bedroom door that opens into the garden, so I knew Foxy had been about...

Creative... no time, stuff to do...not my ink painting but I found it when tidying yesterday, it's my daughter's from when she came over from Australia last summer (I took her name out). And we were doing ink paintings together...

It's not raining, although weather app says it is, but another app says no rain until 11 so I will be venturing out there in a mo...

Have your best day...

Time for a cuppa...

Spock has plenty over which to hang his head in shame. Whilst not completely agreeing with Larkin in This be the Verse he was definitely on the right lines and we Boomers clearly made mistakes. Both Millennials and Gen Z carry some scars.
I quite like the Larkin poem. I think it well observed and could also be aimed at dogs and owners.

Champion. Sainsbury’s toilet - good move - never pass up the opportunity to have a pea.

Accept should of course have been recognise. As in truth? I don't recognise that.

What a marvellously paired back landscape.

5.6 this morning. The sky was a stunning dark pink which made the park look magical as we walked around it with Poppy.

Maybe I will have another coffee before starting the admin. Then a very early dinner at 11am before my classes start in Norwich.

Good morning everyone on a much calmer start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. 5.7 this am. Mrs Miggins and her twin sister have jetted off to Prague for a few days. They flew from Newcastle yesterday afternoon. I have a single task to complete while they are away so will get that sorted this morning. We have also booked flights over to Bordeaux for late April to see my parents, my youngest brother will be going in February. We will both be batch cooking while we are there I suspect although their visits to local eateries for lunch does get them up and moving quite regularly. Art bit, Still clearing dishes of left over Paynes Grey and Raw Sienna - can’t let those over enthusiastic dollops of paint go to waste. Hope your day is a good one. I must finish my koffy and get moving.

MrSlim has dressed in working clothes this morning - but an email aporoving him for a driving license from the French version of DVLA has sent him searching for the missing driving license again to send in. If, as he suspects, he has put it somewhere "safe" it may never be found. Without it he will have to start the process again... its only been five months so far.

Your daughter must have inherited her talent from you.

You're making a marvellous job of using those paints to best advantage. Love the effects you create.

8.4 at 0250 today. 7.1 a short time ago when I took my 2nd lot of pain killers (wimp!). Only water so far but will have to think about breakfast soon. Question is whether to go straight for the experimental pre-cooked and chilled pasta which I said I would do today, while there is still plenty of time to correct results if they are bad, or just to make a steady start with bacon and eggs, which I know won't be hard on my BG. I think I will make it the pasta experiment. Leaves the rest of the day to try to get BG back into range if it is a negative result.

Brilliant @dunelm

I hate these 'safe' places we manage to find @SlimLizzy

Morning all from a wet L.A. No known fbg to report. @Annb you aren't a wimp for needing pain killers and good idea to test the pasta while there is time to correct matters if needed. @gennepher thanks for sharing - gifting to us - your daughter's gift to you. @dunelm 1 job eh, we all know how that usually ends. Thanks for sharing the splendid art. @SlimLizzy good news on Mr Slim being approved for a driving licence. I know the very, very safe place story only too well. We have a fine collection of door hangers for wreaths - somewhere. @Krystyna23040 great fbg again and the park sounds wonderful. My day will include allegedly organic, grass fed, antibiotic free steak. How true those claims are and whether it is also taste and pleasure free is entirely different. Does food (especially LC/Keto) taste better if one believes the hype/claims? At least I'm trying - very, very according to my nearest and dearest. Of course, I don't recognise that. Enjoy Tuesday everyone.
