What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Yes she did really enjoy the attention @ianpspurs .
I went with Mr K to pick her up from the dog groomers and they gave us a lovely sympathy card, some pictures of Archie and Poppy that they had taken at Archie's last visit and a little vial of his dog hair that they had saved. It was such a thoughtful gift.

I am so sorry @dogslife

Thank you @ianpspurs. The asthma clinic went well and I got a sticker for being good.

Hope that your GP has come back to you by now.

So sorry to read this. Condolences to you and your family.

Creative...
No time to do a drawing, so a photo of my door...

Hugs for all those who need them.

Time for a nap...

Is there a naughty corner for that badger. Lovely shot of your door.

That is very thoughtful of them

Nothing earth shattering here but worth reiterating/refreshing since it must be about revision time.
Dug into the references and references of references. Seems that the sparkly standout pedestal waving fibre for helping with blood sugars and also cholesterol is Psyllium. Looks like Inulin is off my shopping list - seems that you may need it by the bucket full to have any meaningful effect (rats!).

Thanks for sharing. I'm sure we'll soon all get moving on that. I'm expecting some soon - obviously delivered in a transit van. Hang loose people and keep your BSC handy

I always remember my specialist endocrinologist advising me to take vitamin B in winter.
I then asked him if any supplements or extra vitamins would be beneficial?
He replied quite forcibly.
Unless you have a deficiency in your results, to only take it then.
Otherwise, your metabolism is coping well without them.
And of course, someone is trying to get you to spend your hard earned cash.

I can't believe it's still raining!
And freezing.
Hate this weather. Can't get in the garden.
it is getting like I'm a prisoner.
Perhaps the big white ball will not stop me when I do escape.
Wonder who or what the #2 will be?
Always loved the beach at Portmeirion.

Sorry, just musing!

Interesting. For myself, if something cheap and cheerful is found in some good research to help reduce my spikes in blood sugars then I’m in and will monitor the effects. I do take vitamin D mind as blood tests indicate I need to do that.
