What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Good morning everyone on a bird chirping start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. Very warm yesterday - probably too warm for three old blokes tackling what to our legs felt like the first pitch of the Eiger. Still, my friend completed his challenge and we were in no rush. A not very good photo below. Put the roof of our little car down on the way home - Tilley hat firmly jammed on head to hide under from the sun. Art bit - Indian ink on wet. Is it Monday yet? Re-name your day and make it fun. I shall drink koffy and then sort out some washing below stairs.

Yes, it is the Absolute Black 100%. Back in 2016 I switched to 70% which was really hard to do as I loved milk chocolate. After a while it started tasting too sweet so switched to 85% but the same thing happened so I switched to 90% but then a class member gave me the Montazumas 100% as a Christmas present and I absolutely loved the rich and intense taste and from that moment on I felt same as you - no other chocolate would do.

I do love the way the buttons slowly melt in your mouth.

Personally I'm rather awed how you, @dunelm & other artists produce such, to my eye anyway, vivid displays to share so generously.

For my tuppence worth, I like both the solo & background versions.

And when I consider the time frame & pen (tools) doesn't leave the paper (screen) once you start, I think they are incredible and capture the subject wonderfully.

The "Counter-weight" class is starting up again this afternoon so we'll see what they make of my weight after the class not running for the last month or so.

Wood should be delivered today for the work that Neil needs to do in the loft after the insulation was put in and doesn't meet Neil's exacting expectations. He won't be able to do it yet though because there appear to be fumes being given off by the insulation which affect his chest (always a weak point for him). It will have to be left to settle for a while and hope the ventilation up there clears it sufficiently for him to work up there.

Still waiting for the last radiator to be fitted. We are told that it has been delivered to the builder but I daresay they will wait until they have an hour to spare before they come to fit it.

Good afternoon from L.A. where, in summary, it is summery. @gennepher and @dunelm thank you both for sharing your amazing art. @Krystyna23040 yesterday sounds wonderful for all - except poor Poppy. @alf_Josiah I hope your time on the NHS front line went smoothly. @Annb hug for Neil's poblems with the odour but definitely best to stay well clear for a while. Enjoy Monday because the forecast is après moi, le déluge for many.
 
Just had a quick dip into family history again (had to rest my legs) and found information on one of Tom's ancestors. Years ago (about 1962) he bought one of those plaques with family name/arms/motto on it and I always thought it vey weak and kind of "mealy mouthed". It was "We mean well". This new information gives a new motto which is even worse: "Further back the better". I mean; come on guys!

6.9 and not surprised as it was form filling day, for me, spent all morning obsessing about it.
Then, it was the actual answering questions to the man.
Afterwards, I asked the question.

Mrs L sends her thanks for the wishes, a little bruise, (another) on her upper leg, on the muscle. And Mrs L is not moaning, so I believe it is ok, and will keep an eye on it.

Landlocked I shouted at the telly. Which earned a rebuke from Mrs L.

Picked up some fillets for evening meal.

Today, was one of warmth and cloud, odd bits of sun, and not much done in garden. But it can wait.
