What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Thank you very much @Annb for your lovely compliment...
Hugs for your pains....

Pity about the machine breaking down @ianpspurs

Sounds a winner of a day @Krystyna23040
I really enjoyed the shopping and bought the perfect edge to edge cardigan in M&S that will add an extra layer to some tops I have.

In Lakeland I was a bit naughty. Instead of asking where the dishwashing brushes were I said that I had a complaint to make - that I had purchased a dishwashing brush 20 years ago and it is now looking quite worn out. Luckily the assistant thought that was funny.I

Your picture is really brilliant @gennepher

Hope you get good news when you receive the results of your tests. Really annoying that the MRI machine broke down.

Good morning everyone from under what appears to be a blue tinged sky (for now at least) in the dark and dangerous north. 5.5 this a.m. and already tea has been consumed and laundry folded and squirrelled away. Mrs Miggins and I did a bit of tidying up in the garden yesterday after picking up The Girl In The Bubble from school. Weeds were picked. Planters and seedlings watered and Mrs Miggins declared that the grass would be cut on Wednesday. Then last night it rained so I am expecting a day of bright sunshine in readiness for that grass cutting proclamation to come to fruition. Birthday of one of our daughters in law today so will await patiently for any last minute plans - she is a scenes of crime officer so who knows how her day will go. Anyhow, art bit - another tree. I am having a bit of fun practicing these old Chinese methods of illustrating a tree. I hope your day goes well but if you do fall into a hole, stop digging, stay calm, don’t add angry or negative emotions to the equation - unless of course you are banging in nails and hit your thumb with the hammer. Then all words in the lexicon are allowed as you dance your jig. Koffy - it’s a new bag today - marvelous.

5.6 this morning.
Yesterday we were so lucky it rained heavily in the morning because a builder had come to repair some cracks in the wall of the hall I use for classes and he would have been using his drill but couldn't start the work because of the rain.

The cracks go right up to the ceiling and it would have been impossible to teach the class while he was drilling.

Today will be ok because the other hall at the venue isn't being used today.
