Our GP doesn’t have many of the specialised dressings. What one doesn't pay in taxes one pays in the shortfall of basic services. Anyhow, I'm above ground, there is a summer of sport plus I have tea, JKP, my family and my faith. Have a great weekend if at all possible if not, smile and wave, smile and wave.

A matey hug & respect for the way you're handling all this & more.

A blessing to have JKP on the bench ready at a moments notice to be there with the cold sponge etc.

I think we all have days we're grateful to our god for the simplest of things.

Rather humbling when we're at a low ebb but inspiring to believe that someone, somewhere, is looking over us.

If I ever move again I will move back into a house with an upstairs and just live downstairs and seal off upstairs, because living next to the attic space space in a bungalow in these current very changeable weather conditions is intolerable...

Nighttime wildlife video.
For about 3 weeks this cat was the sole visitor in my back garden. It seems to me, like all the other animals, he wishes to make the garden and swing, his home.

This footage is sped up about 6 to 8 times. Cat Midnight was the only cat that met up with him.

None of the badgers or foxes attempted to visit while he was here. He appears to be ginger and white. He doesn't seem to be aggressive. Midnight and he are playing some kind of follow me dance, is the only way I can describe it.

I had many many hours of footage on this over the 3 weeks...and all that time no other cat nor badger nor fox came into the garden.

This is a fraction of the activity of one night. I was falling asleep all the time watching because it was in such slow motion....I have deleted the rest, nothing I can do with it, but it was very interesting. This ginger cat has not been back yet.

They arrived very late. Midnight on English time so 1.00am here. After a drink and some catching up bed around 2h.
Glorious sunshine for the ferry trip and yesterday as well. Forecast to continue, but didn't live up to the promise. Cloudy and wet this morning, with occaisional bursts of sunshine.
Yesterday took Mum to a local garden. One I had visited before. Found it a bit disappointing. The roses had not been deadheaded and looked very bedraggled. They have obviously have problems with slugs and many plants were badly chewed. Still it was an outing.
We had planned to go to a market this morning, but sadly Mum is feeling unwell, so all plans are on hold.

So went for my appointment with the nurse first thing she asks is did I bring one of the dressings I had been prescribed for use at home with me no one had asked me to so I hadn’t she says well that’s a lot of use I said this is a doctors surgery don’t you have one no she doesn’t I despair at times I really do.
