What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Hi Guys,
I am quite worried today. I over did the laxido at the weekend and had the trots but in the space of twentyfour hours because I lose a massive amount of water over night I am constipated. A lot of the water comes out my bowel because I have Primary Aldosteronism.
I have had loads to drink today and it seems as though my kidneys have switched off and I am not producing any amount of urine now.
Whereas up to yesterday it reflected in how much more urine I was producing.
I will try to to see the doctor tomorrow.

There is always emergency services, mate.
Don't get dehydrated or if you feel worse, look after yourself.
 
Will update later, but gasmen all over the garden and gas meter.
Gotta order in food.
Social services came and went, another frustrating day, Mrs L was forgetful and mixed up about the questions asked.

Oh what a difficult balancing act and hope that you can get to see your doctor who can give good advice.
 
Off and on all day the gasmen in and out.
But back on for the night.
Going off in morning again due to renewal of the main gas main down the road.
Leaks were found in next doors feed as well as one in ours and a crack discovered in main pipe. More gasmen turned up to fix them. And to cap it all off, our feed pipe to our house is smaller than the rest of the neighbours.
Typical!

Cricket has gone well, just want the footie to win now.

No FBG today for some reason.

Defo gonna have an easy day tomorrow with no gas!!!!!
 
When earlier I said workmen I should have said workman singular as he was on his own he could not go up the scaffolding to reach the upper part of the wall and even if he could the guys who erected the scaffolding had not left a ladder incredibly.

@lindisfel do take care and if needs be call 111 or 999 better safe than sorry my friend.

7.45am FBG 6.1 interesting that high sugar snacks late in the evening produce a lower FBG the next morning than the pistachios I ate last night.
Am currently standing poised with a garden fork, having seen a molehill rising in front of me. I fetched a fork but there has been no further visible activity for five minutes now and I am getting bored. Moles create so much mess and work for me. I must spend at least an hour a day clearing their taupinières and replanting things they have disturbed.

Breathing a little better today...
It was a tad cooler in my bungalow last night, but that was with 3 big upright floor cold fans going (I can't have these going during the day because of my very dry eyes), 4 cube humidifier fans going, and then the cube humidifier in my bedroom, along with the smaller personal humidifier fans near me.
The air is warm and still outside, so, I'm not opening my bedroom door (which opens up to outside) this morning, it is cooler in my bedroom...
My electricity bill is higher in the warmer months than the colder months...

My daytime glucose readings are higher than usual in this warm weather...

I spent a lot of my early childhood watching the moles burrow on the farm.I didn't understand the concept of noise/sound then (with being profoundly deaf), but I did understand movement and vibration could disturb animals and creatures. If I stayed totally still, then I might be rewarded with a molehill and a mole....
 
Morning all from Dear England* where a week has palpably altered the mood of many. I know not my fbg nor if that is actually worth knowing anyhow - colour me agnostic over that. @jjraak I hope today goes well for you as you have travelled and still travel a hard road with humour and patience, good man. @Annb I hope today is primarily characterised by wonderful memories but thoughts and prayers with you. @JohnEGreen hug for the downsized building team. @Lamont D hug for the gas issue. For those with the means may I offer this as a cause to support today. Sir Andrew Strauss may be well known and not short of a bob or two but his boys and many unknown children are massively impacted by cancer and it is a cause close to my heart. God bless and protect you all. Have a great day everyone. Only one way to end this.

Big hugs for both the suffering in the heat and the subsequent fuel bills. I have dry eyes but probably not as servere as yours as I just use visco tears. Do you use moisture chamber glasses? Big up for the splendid colours in this smashing kaleidoscope.
 
Good morning everyone on an overcast but dry start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. 6.1 this a.m. on the scales of Anubis and already bin one of two has been treated to flip over ride by the first bin lorry cavalcade. Aldi, a couple of days ago, they are now stocking some kefir yoghurt (images below). I usually take a slug of kefir and two spoons of yoghurt in the morning as breakfast so am trying this out. Quite like the tangy taste so hopefully they will continue to stock it. Art bit - all in all it’s just another tree by the wall. Taking Mrs Miggins’ not very mobile brother out to lunch today. Hope you have a good day and all the best to @jjraak for the eye op. Koffy, best get some more organised.

@dunelm thank you for sharing the art and the information on the kefir. @gennepher gentle hug for the impact of summer on your eyes and breathing. That bungalow sounds as though the design and construction were a nightmare because this has been a pretty awful summer, hardly a phew what a scorcher in sight. Thank you for the wonderful kaleidoscope which vividly exemplifies all you embody: a glorious, bright beacon of hope in the face of absolute poop. I hope you find some coolness and calm today.

Allegedly coldest, wettestwindiest July ever!
So far, and not getting better yet!
Or at all, according to some doomsayers.
