What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and those who woke up.

Blood sugars a few moments ago were 5.4

Due to an up coming medical procedure Mrs J who studies these things has altered my diet and I’ve heard the words “ You can’t eat that “ a few times now also I have a 90 day course of a new medication to take I’m into day 5 of this medication and am wondering about how it reacts with my other medication and diabetes, so far it’s to early to tell.

Now it’s plinky plonky day for me and I need to stand in the indoor rain cabinet then get ready for the trek in the great metropolis of Reading for my plinky plonky lesson. Fortunately the religious zealots are now nowhere to be seen these days, how long this will continue I know not.

Stay safe all, hugs where required and remember a smile costs you nothing and finally guess who was sent shopping yesterday and paid for some of the items then left them in the shopping trolley?
Did you hear Mrs J shouting at me……….I did

So sorry to read about Judith's sister. You and Judith are always in my prayers and now her sister as well, in more specific terms than usual.

5.9 this morning.

Daughter and granddaughter arrived safely at Heathrow from Toronto. Youngest daughter on her way to pick them up. They will be coming up to Norfolk on Monday. It will be lovely to see them.

Off to classes shortly.

Morning all from a cool but bright start to Wednesday here in L.A. @JohnEGreen such sad news. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. @Annb hug for the need to stabilise your blood sugar. @gennepher hug for the after effects of that van driver and the general atmosphere of that bungalow. Despite, or because of?, all that you produce and share amazing creatives such as today's poppy. For a variety of reasons poppies resonate in this family so thank you. @Krystyna23040 wonderful news that your daughter arrived safely and exciting times ahead next week. I'm delighted for you and Mr K. @dunelm excellent news on finding shade and thank you for sharing the art. Have a safe journey home. @alf_Josiah thinking of you dealing with medical issues and stepping up to the plate with unfamiliar tasks, good man. We're not going back sounds like a good rallying call. Peace be with you all now and always.

6.3 yay!
Can start keeping my eye on it again.
A lovely morning which will be followed by cloudy with meatballs!
Still quite warm.
A quiet day and a new book to read, when I can.
So I'm off out into the garden

Really sad news @JohnEGreen.
Hope you get some sleep @gennepher.
Good trip home @dunelm.
Enjoy your training @alf_Josiah. You know she means well.
Enjoy your family get together @Krystyna23040 ,
@ianpspurs love the tree. Only 7 rebels. But Charlie got his two helicopters and his backhander.
Don't make sense to me?
Take care to the rest of you.
My best wishes to you lot as always.

Thank you very much @ianpspurs

I am about to fall asleep now thanks @Lamont D

A bit of a nightmare today. Got home from morning classes and opened a letter from companies house to confirm that a new company has been set up at this address also received a letter from Revolut to say that an account has been set up at this address for the new company.

Contacted Companies House who advised I contact Action Fraud. Have now got a crime number which I have passed to Companies House and Revolut. This has taken the whole afternoon. Very stressful. Off to classes now.

So sorry for you but well done for acting so swiftly.

As someone who has been duped by fraudsters, I also admire your frame of mind, to get the help you needed. You will need that class to relax you.

Actually you are so right @Lamont D . Have just finished the first class and because you have to totally focus on the class all the stress disappeared. Next class due in 5 minutes. Am in a much better frame of mind.

I am so sorry @JohnEGreen

That's not very nice @Krystyna23040
I hope that this is the end of that now.

Sounds mouth-watering @ianpspurs Let us know when you're going back I'll come and join you.

Darling Midnight. Cats may not speak our language @gennepher but they communucate so effectively in other ways.
It's remarkable how felines adapt to the human occupants in their home @gennepher. Some years ago, I made the acquaintence of an elderly lady who was severely hard of hearing. She relied on her pair of Siamese cats to tell her when there was somebody at the door.

As a breed, Siamese are naturally vocal, (more talkative than your average moggie I would say) and they have a particularly loud 'miaow' when they want to gain your attention, so I was astonished when both her cats responded to the door bell by looking round to face her and mouthing miaow, mi-ee-aow. No sound came out!
