What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Your an example to us all Alf and every day show us how precious life is.

Thank you Ian.
Unfortunately I have no idea who Deborah James is or Rob Burrow are, but sometimes ignorance is bliss.

Happy Transplant Birthday

Last week I condemned a Rupert Lowe interview for his outrageous attempt to use Britain being notionally Christian to justify rioting. I'd argue Britain, certainly England, has only called itself a Christian country, as opposed to being one, since, what, at least mid-Victorian times? Justin Welby will cop flack from the Populist press and rabble rousers but no good exegesis can or will gainsay his substantive points. Watch them try to no-platform him while trying to argue they aren’t allowed to speak “their truths.” They aren’t as some falsely claim only saying "what everyone is thinking" - insidious and lying phrase for something designed to disguise malign ideas and intentions.

Congratulations on your amazing anniversary - not amazing that you are still here, but amazing that you did receive that donated liver 32 years ago. That family must be proud of the good that the young man was able to do for you and probably for others as well. You are an example to us all in overcoming obstacles and remaining good humoured throughout.

Thank you Gennefer

I was looking for these 2 pics earlier, only just found them!

J bought me a keyboard after I had the cochlear implant.
I tried hard to learn on it. Teachers weren't willing to take on a deaf person, so I taught myself to a degree.
Maybe I should make a space on the table for it again...

Thank you @ianpspurs - 24C - I can take that

Thank you

Many congratulations on this very important anniversary and of course your thoughts for the young man’s family that gave you those years.

Day has gone too hot to breathe...
Me flaked out besides my master humidifier.
Cats, including Midnight gone to cooler ground, nowhere to be seen...
I am lying between a sea of fans and humidifiers.
Doing my breathing exercises....

Looks beautiful outside, but not for me to be in it...too much pollen there as well.

There are clouds of cabbage white butterflies, their little bugs having feasted on the remains of my vegetable garden.

Eyes are itchy in this...

Eyes mask back on in a mo...no complaints because my brain is giving me fantastic intense vivid (why this vivid?) pictures to paint...problem is, I need to live a thousand years to paint them all. I had better become an immortal...

Creative...finger painting with black ink, and using Japanese Kuratake pens. The photo shows the white page lilac, but it is pure white. My bedding is lilac, and so it is a reflection of that. This painting needs a bit more work, but that is not happening today. I will start a new one tomorrow...

Got my tie paisley neckerchief thingy from Amazon with water absorbent beans in the neck part. Soak it and it keeps wet and cool for ages. It helps me breathe better too. And got the scarf thingy that you soak and wring and put it round your neck and that keeps cool for awhile as well. I put that on top of the wet necktie thingy...it helps create a micro climate in my face area...

Wildlife video
A very busy, thirsty night in the nighttime video
I had to speed it up by 2 to get most of the action in...
Badgers & Cats - a long night

Make the most of the rest of today.

I am just going to make a jug of water with ice cubes...

Thank you for sharing the creative. I hope you can get some relief from the heat and will have you in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow.

Congrats on using the time so well.
I wouldn't know how to cope with that, it would certainly tug on the anxiety and guilt issues I had.
And do find the humour and laugh at fate, and it's shenanigans.
