Following MeteoGroup's latest bungle which suggested hurricane-force winds had hit Britain, I'd plump for the Met Office @Krystyna23040. The BBC should have stayed with the Met Office in my view.5.6 this morning.
Today is my day for staying in my local area - so no trips to Norwich.
Who do I believe - Met Office or BBC weather.
If Met Office is right Poppy will get her walk behind Beetley Village Hall before I start classes. However, BBC weather says no - it will be too wet for a walk.
Thanks @LivingLightlyThank you @gennepher for sharing this imaginative landscape scene.
Thursday's FBG, 4.7 mmol/l on waking at 6.00 am.
I gingerly opened the curtains this morning, are the bungalows still in our road...Following MeteoGroup's latest bungle which suggested hurricane-force winds had hit Britain, I'd plump for the Met Office @Krystyna23040. The BBC should have stayed with the Met Office in my view.
Alternatively, pick the one you like best. Very often, you can glean more from looking out the window!

Bit odd - the readings - mind you blood sugars can go haywire for no apparent reason.I was about to report a fbg of 4.3 when I got a low glucose warning and a reading of 3.6 mid post at 06.45 am.
Alexa is telling me the temperature is 0 degrees and wind speed 12.6 Km/h and Alexa is always pretty accurate.

I love this coffee series @dunelmGood morning everyone on a bright and sunny autumnal start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. No test today as I forgot what day it was and laid in bed awake for far too long. Word of the century for you is Anatidaephobia, the irrational fear that somewhere, a duck or goose is watching you. So now you know what’s been troubling you all these years and there is a special word for it. It’s not listed in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 5th edition, text revision (DSM-5) so probably just a load of quackery. Lots of folk out last night taking photos of what they think is the Norther Nights but more probably a prelude to day of the triffids. Art bit - grey paper, and why not. Hope the sun shines on you today - chuck away the vit D pills and get out in the sunshine - vit D is not actually a vitamin after all. Koffy. Nurse, I need my koffy!
Smashing coffee art. Chromebook uses ChromeOS - a cloud based operating system. You will be able to use Google cloud based apps and android apps.Fbg
Slept well last night.
Needed that...
Sun out this morning touching the tops of my trees...
Resident pigeon is searching for food... perhaps I could train him to be a homing pigeon and deliver my postcards to all my pen friends with this latest increase in postage...
Plastic/silk flowers give a cheerful outlook. Those wired to the trees cannot be moved easily, but plenty are loosely arranged or stuck in the ground among appropriate vegetation. And I can rotate them every week a few weeks to so I can see a different aspect to my garden.
So far the badger has not taken an interest in them and has not removed them to adorn his den... but I'm waiting for the day that happens.... at least I can just buy some more...
Ordered some more security for my garden and side passage by my kitchen door, which is now basically my front door because it has the security of my locked gates. Actual front door doesn't have that extra security...
I'm still working in getting all these apps back. Some apps point blank refuse to download despite the icon being on the home screen. And the signing into a whole pile of stuff is a massive problem, because this extra security added to everything now, is much more so than when I last signed in. And some are proving impossible to sign in, despite all the hoops they are putting me through.
This pushed me to take advantage of a big deal on Amazon Prime the last few days. I nearly left it too late with literally minutes to spare... I was still deciding ...it was for a chrome book, 14 inch screen I think, I don't have a laptop but I could do with a bigger screen for paperwork and browsing the web and that kind of stuff. It is supported until 2027. And it being an independent device from Apple which caused me so much grief the last few days. I'll pick it up in a few days. The CPU is unknown. One of the reviewers said the operating system was Linux, but this might be potluck. And I haven't a clue what I am talking about here.... It is supposed to be very easy to start up according to reviewers..... you might hear me screaming next week....
Meantime, I am tidying up and making some table space...
Creative is a coffee painting.... I did it while I was drinking my cup of black coffee this morning... tipped coffee and water on to the paper... made a huge puddle... had to dab it all up... dropped a few drops of coffee onto the wet paper... got the hairdryer going full blast.... that made the trees... and here you have it... misty morning in the woods... no paintbrush required.... just your morning black coffee and a hairdryer ....have a go when you are nextdrinking your coffee....
Right, I now have some business to attend to....
Have a good day...

Thank you @gennepher
Yes, I agree that the BBC should most definitely have stayed with the Met Office as they are usually more accurate. Actually, I often do pick the one I like best but take my raincoat just in case.Following MeteoGroup's latest bungle which suggested hurricane-force winds had hit Britain, I'd plump for the Met Office @Krystyna23040. Ah, but one can never be sure it is not just wind. Due diligence by the olfactory system is always advisable as the eyes can deceive one.Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and those that imbibe in drinking bowel cleansing koffy.
Blood sugars this morning were 5.6
Here in Tilehurst Towers all is quiet apart from Robert Zimmerman warbling away in the background, his version of like a rolling stone.
Mrs J has gone to get provisions, so I am stealing a few minutes to drink koffy and report in.
Now I must depart , continue with my allotted tasks, wish you all well. Remember a smile costs nothing but gives so much.
That and ignoring the "depressing meedja" are how this kind of abject stupidity and evil thrive as per the riots after Southport.Yes, I agree that the BBC should most definitely have stayed with the Met Office as they are usually more accurate.
