Thank you @ianpspurs. Yes, it is a shame that some other people are not being sensible - which must be fuelling this upsurge in covid.Hug for the Covid but winner for promptly taking the sensible course of action for yourself and your clients. Would that everyone was so sensible. Take care and do rest - he says optimistically.
Yes, it is really lovely that we do know each other so well.I'd very much echo @ianpspurs sentiments.
If only everyone followed your lead.
Best wishes you both recover asap.
Though I did smile at the slight knowing barb at the end of ians post .
How well we all know each other....
It is no wonder, why there is a much illness around.M
Oh...boy...I needed that belly laugh... @jjraak
I am not feeling well, coming down with a fever. Covid testing is nil...
I don't do illnesses. I am never sick. But I do need that large steam vaporiser I have...
It could mean duller colours, certainly @Krystyna23040I wonder if that means that they won't go into their lovely autumn colours this year.
Blood testingLike a bolt from the blue 8.5 at 5 am.
Wasn't aware of the different process for breaking down leaves into leaf mould, however I have found bagging them up to be effective, so long as the leaves are damp. Dry leaves do not break down. Have pkenty of fungi here. We're on heavy clay also @SlimLizzy. Garden compost is broken down by bacterial action and heats up in the process.
Leafmould is made when autumn leaves are broken down by the slow action of fungi, rather than by bacteria. Little heat is emitted.
Pile leaves up separately in a bespoke leafmould bin or cage and you'll have the perfect material to use for mulching and potting in years to come.
Tuesday 's FBG 4.4 mmol/l on waking at 6.00 am.
Squishy wet here too @Lamont D7 .1mmols this manic Monday on a Wednesday.
There was incidents and accidents again in the early hours.
Hints and allegations, in the dawn's early light.
Not stopped except to the phone calls.
First, to the housing. Nowt!
Second was dsn, half an hour going through the meds, the testing strips, the patches and so on.
Flu and covid jabs on a home visit, sometime soon.
Still gotta phone pharmacy again.
Drier playing up again, with the extra washing, it cannot go on the line because........
It started raining around the pm last night, and the amber warning certainly applies to the peninsula.
Both front and back are under water, indeed it's a swimming pool, and a duck pond on the footie pitches.
It is wet out there, really damp, moist, squishy, wishy-washy, torrential, persistently p..... down!I
So not going shop.
Eggs are boiling away very slowly.
Mrs L is having a nap.
More kitchen duties to do, not getting anywhere near the garden today.
My best wishes to you lot as always.
That is such a shame as the Autumn colours are usually so stunningIt could mean duller colours, certainly @Krystyna23040
Wednesday's FBG 4.6 mmol/l on waking at 6.00 am
Good that you feel much better @gennepher.I have not caught a bug since forever.
Yesterday, I had a bad headache.
High temperature
Stabbing pains
And a raging thirst.
It was hard to breathe.
The oximeter was low 89...
I was a little worried.
But I took ibuprofen, have my humidifier going at my bedside, drank loads water(put salt and sugar in water), and found some vick (used that on my chest, but I don't have the usual cold or flu symptoms).
This morning, I don't feel like I have been hit by a truck any more...
Headache virtually gone.
Breathing much easier, feels normal now.
Temperature is normal.
The sharp stabbing pains have gone away.
Raging thirst has gone.
Peak flow meter reading could be a tad better, it is just under 400, it's usually just over. Brilliant readings on oximeter...hovering between 97 to 98, readings are steady, and the pulse is 69.
I can't go back to sleep because I was unable to move enough to be able get the wheelie out last night, nor finish the recycling....
I never fed the stray cats last night, I wasn't capable.
Never set the trail cameras...
I need to get the recycle out before 7 am
