Methinks the man doth protest too much. Its not rocket nor indeed any other science. I've noticed scientists are always full of something or other but largely devoid of common sense. Noise cancelling headphones and reading of whatever boils ya bacon or even other rooms are available. You may also have let the phrase for better or worse pass your lips then conveniently escape you memory. Time to honour your promises and doubtless debt to that blessed lady. Now man up, own your promises, honour some of your debt to that amazing lady, and possibly issue a grovelling apology for ever having the audacity to think such things, never mind commit them to worldwide view. Yesterday evening Mrs J caught up on a few Masterchef episodes and the final ! Then watched the Strictly come Dancing final. It is no wonder why I call the television “ the idiot box “

Enjoy that coffee...Good morning everyone from a drizzly start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. 5.2 this am - 4.2 would be the answer to everything. It’s all on track in Saintes where my mother lives. Ice sculptures appeared dotted about town yesterday, it’s becoming an anual thing. We are going to go and see if they are still in recognisable unmelted condition this morning. Wrap up warm, I know. Art bit - is it supposed to be a moon or a sun - who knows. May your day preceded without frenzy. I shall drink koffy and think about why it is that some folk demand to shower every single day and they don’t even work down the mines.

Cat Amy watches Cat Jade - then Jade looks startled & runs away - another new Badger comes from under the swing - then Thor appears for a drink of water.
I have given this new badger who came from under the swing, the name of Willow...
These two badgers have not appeared in the same video frame together, and so I have no idea if they are related.

Thank you @gennepherEnjoy that coffee...
Love the Art bit @dunelm
Actually you have done well. After my ankle sprain I couldn't even do one second.I can do that easily I said to myself.... @Krystyna23040
I do tai chi, so surely , no problem...
I have an imaginary string from the top of my head reaching to the heavens...when I do a standing still pose with tai chi...that always works....
Not for your standing on one leg exercise...it doesn't.
About one second I've made it so far...
Thank you@Annb I hope the water is running more freely now. @dunelm thank you very much for sharing today's art, French Little Drummer Boy and beautiful video - (is très belle Ville, n'est pas, correct?). I don't think we Brits do that song at all well whereas it seems to be a big thing for our cousins in the you ess of ay and the French, from that video. @gennepher thank you for sharing the video and that wonderful Laboscope Kaleidoscope. That package of tea scrubs up amazingly well. I didn't like it ......... I loved , loved, loved itEnjoy your food and some peace. I've just had a warm sugar free mince pie: 6 gms carb at most so probably 30.4 gms today - don't grass me up, I'm just a weak willed man. Brandy was definitely not optional and any type of erythritol is far too ghastly to even contemplate.
Edit: I won't have today's Advent calendar chocolate - 1 gm carb - so all good for bean counting. Oh no, can't have beans. Does even metaphorically counting them drive one's system into an uncontrollable frenzy?
have you ever, ever, and methinks you do need one, a man shed?Mrs J is laughing at your reply……..
Thank you @ianpspurs. Yes, I was very careful at Sheringham Park. The Nordic poles worked really well. It actually feels like you are walking on four legs - which gives you lots of stability.Morning all from a grey skied but calm and dry start to Gaudete Sunday here in L.A. Cue a Steeleye Span ear worm (see attached) for those of a certain age. No known fbg here and little trust in or love of Elsie just now: she's lost the dressing room and is rapidly climbing the Sack Race table. Like the local kebab emporium - lamb and chicken only - she just doesn't d'liver . However, old habits die hard so 30 gms plain peanut butter for #tabletgate early doors, dippy eggs, (all three runny yolks), and keto toast for lunch yesterday. h/m spinach and kale soup for evening meal. Meat free and low carb, also met UK folate levels: my app - free version - is set by default to US levels which has been causing me endless problems trying to reach that and stay under 30 gms carb - 22.2 yesterday as I and Cronometer measure things. As the food really isn't what I want, surely it ought to meet some other worthy criteria? Lamb shoulder today, should satisfy the daily UK iron target and is about as good as lamb gets. Veggies need to meet vit C and folate targets. I'm thankful I am blessed to be able to pick and choose menus and yes, this is all the rim of the wheel of fortune/the froth on the surface (influence of something I watched before writing this). Any old how, @Krystyna23040 thank you for sharing those exercises freely when many would charge. Enjoy Sheringham Park, carefully. Surely Mr K must deserve at least a sausage roll? I hope Y'all enjoy Sunday at both levels of joy today, now I need more tea.
Thank you @ianpspurs and yes, it’s a très belle Ville. I think that Bing Crosby and David Bowie ruined it all when Bing sang it all rubber-bum-pump.@Annb I hope the water is running more freely now. @dunelm thank you very much for sharing today's art, French Little Drummer Boy and beautiful video - (is très belle Ville, n'est pas, correct?).
