The new Badger - I shall call him Thor for the moment...

Same vid on TikTok

Creative...a red beaded decorative cloth I have...when someone asks me what I would like them to bring me back for a present when they've been abroad I ask for a length of cloth... sometimes I make cushions out of it, other times it might be a curtain or table covering...this one I used for my bed head for years, it has a heart in the middle and I might use it as a wall decoration now...

Night night
Sweet dreams

The name Thor suits the new badger @gennepher.
An amazing kaleidoscope.

Thank you @Krystyna23040
I could not keep calling him the new badger because he's been coming for nearly two weeks now, short visits to start with and now he comes a bit longer...

And thanks for the kaleidoscope compliment. The red cloth itself is very pretty....

Lovely kaleidoscope. The original must be lovely as well.

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen.

Earlier this morning my blood sugars were 6.6 as to what they are now is of no interest to me, me’s and myself. A harsh but truthful statement.

Luckily for me I have been informed that today is a Saturday, it’s good to know that someone understands how confused we retired old folks get especially with regard to days of the week.

Todays tasks for me involve sorting out the finances, ie Mrs J’s spending on fodder, a beard trim, divesting myself of clothing and standing in the indoor rain cabinet, generally getting under Mrs J’s feet and on her last remaining nerve. Perhaps some repairs on a piece of Mrs J’s equipment, but firstly I must make her morning tea…..

6.5 at 05.00 today. That's a lot better than yesterday, but then I didn't eat much yesterday so nothing to shove the BG up.

Neil says he's going to take all the cardboard boxes we have gathered - a huge pile - to the recycling plant today so my task this morning has been to remove, or blank out all the labels. It's very convenient getting stuff online but disposing of the packaging is a bit of a pain.

Morning all from what has become the sunniest day here for at least a week to ten days. I have no idea of my fbg nor its journey, which may be a very good thing based on my deep feeling that Elsieball really doesn't suit this squad. The which is either the product of a chairman's misunderstanding/cheese-paring, managerial stubbornness/incompetence or injury/over training (Thursday). Of course, another option is that it was always snake oil anyhow but like admitting Br**** was a crazy idea one can't actually say that aloud. Moving on. @alf_Josiah ,very harsh of you to falsely accuse Mrs AJ of having a beard then claiming the trimming thereof is too expensive. Hang your head in shame, give her a hug and order in a huge bouquet- not from a petrol filling emporium either,. Probably best you don't explain the cause of the sudden, unusual display of affection. @Annb wonderful fbg and yes, convenience comes with so much packaging: there's a crack in everything. @gennepher thank you for sharing the video of Thor, and that splendid kaleidoscope. Might Thor spread the word of your munificence in an Avengers Assemble manner? Have a sonnet which deals in part with the "real" season we should celebrate Christmas which of course people all over the world have solved long ago: great film and a brilliant school play back in the day. I wish you all a Merry Saturday, not in a cynical Greg Lake way either.

Thor is so busy searching around your garden. Hope he isn't doing any damage.

Thank you Ian...
Thor might...you never know...
He could be the Advance Guard......

Either it was Thor last night or he had company, because it looks like a little party went on last night.. I won't see who's responsible until I next take out the SD cards which will be Monday....I take out the SD cards when the batteries get low...

5.8 this morning.
Yesterday was a lovely day. I did absolutely no work. A real rest and recharging day.

Two lovely dog walks (without the Nordic poles), reading, suduko and Mah Jong and lots of coffee.

Also worked quite a bit on balance and improving proprioception.

The new one I have started is walking backwards on an imaginary tightrope with eyes closed.

Almost impossible to do toe to heel with eyes closed as I wobble so much - and as I can't stop laughing because I look so ridiculous it makes it even harder to balance.

I am doing it in a really narrow hallway so I can place hands on the wall each side to stop myself falling over.

It does seem like it is a design fault in the human body, to switch off proprioception and balance if we sprain an ankle, which makes us much more likely to sprain it again.

Perhaps @ianpspurs is right and he is spreading the word to his friends that he has found a super new party venue.

Good afternoon everyone on what so far has been a bright and sunny day here in the dark and dangerous north. A smart 5.5 this am. **** Van Dyke was 99 yesterday and can be seen in the new video made by the group Coldplay (sub titles available if you like). Veterans Breakfast Club this morning and I certainly won’t need much of a supper this evening. Farmers market on way home - sourdough and kimchi, and a fennel bulb that will go into some soup this afternoon - enough to last a couple of days. Girl In The Bubble will be round later on for fun and japes and probably strawberries and yoghurt. Art bit, a bit fiercer looking than intended but never mind. Hope your day is still making headway. Best not drink more koffy though.

Edit: you can’t even have a name now in this world of Stasi-woke-banana-brains editing software - never mind Richard - it’s Supercalifragalisticexpialidocuours or the name of a long winded place in Wales.

I have no hallways in my property, so there will be no chance me doing that exercise @Krystyna23040

Enjoy your busy day. Do remember to use the ubiquitous Farmers Market kayfabe: how much? TGIB has impeccable taste, is that due Mrs Miggins' influence? .Thank you for sharing the art which will engage my Brian nicely for a while since all the rugby I'd watch is on obscure PPV channels. I can't justify subscribing to anymore. I've read enough for now - the collect directs me to read, mark, learn and inwardly digest not mindlessly stuff myself.
