Thought you would come across him som time he I think hade two of his sons done in Aristobulus IV and Alexander was it one those that is an ancestor of yours?
Sorry I forgot about Antipater II maybe it was him.


I recently had a new DNA match a 3rd cousin her name is Twinkle French Schottke I googled her and found her to be a quite impressive person.


This is an extract from what I found out about her

Twinkle is the Program Director for Moms2B, a community program working with pregnant women to have healthy babies in central Ohio, in areas that have the highest rates of infant mortality. “When working with pregnant moms in poverty, I often get questions about why I do this type of work and people say that I will not be able to change poverty. Changing poverty is a big job – I look at the details and break steps down to have success with each mom during her pregnancy and then with the baby, then to develop the goals she wants for her own life. These steps will not change the world but it could change the world for that family.”

It was Aristobulus IV. It was a dangerous world back then.

Your 3rd cousin sounds like an admirable soul. Good on her.
 
#2 grandchild has hopefully achieved a life long desire.
He has had an interview for a new role.
One that alluded him when16-18, he couldn't carry on because of his issues, covid, and no job prospects thanks to the last government.
Meanwhile, his other priority is to finish his masters degree, to go with the other already garnered letters after his name. Before he starts this new role.
And the first person I will grass on is #8. Ha!

Apparently recycling bin will not be emptied any time soon.
Next collection is normal rubbish.
I am going to have to use this as for my recycling stuff.

Why I can't get a train from my local station to the city? Our mayor is really steaming about it.

And more importantly, I can't spend time in my garden? Some of my plants have not survived.

Creative...this is a small portion of a large canvas painting I did...it is on my wall...my iPad lens couldn't adjust to this so I tried with my pixel phone which was able to focus better on it....this is 6 foot long by 2 foot wide...I like it! it is a very delicate painting and all kinds of things can be seen in it....

For those outside the family of pets, it's oh dear

But for those Inside, we get how crushing the loss is

It's a family member ...
Someone WE love who helped make our family what it is

Hugs & deepest sympathies to the pair of you

I amongst many admire Mr k.
But even the strongest of us suffer at the loss of a loved one.

I hope you both take comfort In the shared memories of all those walks , you so generously shared with us all .

And what a fantastic life you both gave her .

how many can say they had a small portion of the love and affection, lovingly given by two people who clearly loved her so deeply .

Condolences to the pair of you for the loss.

RiP poppy.

Hope you & Archie are romping together once more, on the other side of that rainbow bridge

I not a dog or animal painter. I cannot do anything like those fantastic portraits on Instagram.
What I can do if you send me by DM or email, a selection of photographs, is try to attempt to do a painting with Poppy & Archie together. It will NOT be an oil painting, but in line & watercolour. In my mind's eye I also see the background of where you took them for walks, or I could do something in your garden with them on a bench or favorite spot (photographs needed for reference) But there does not have to be a background, it can be something you see in your mind's eye that you cannot get on a photograph.

The offer is there and this will be my gift to you.

The lighting was not good enough, it ended up a blur from where I was standing to get the whole thing in, give me a few days and I will try again to see if I can get the whole painting in.
 
Good morning everyone on another very quiet and tranquil start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. 5.4 this a.m. Just three miles yesterday morning in the pale sunshine before the rain started. Hot tip; on very cold or rainy days, pick a large supermarket and march up and down every isle to get your step count up in the comfort of a dry and mostly warm environment - no snacking at products mind no matter how tempting.
Veterans Breakfast Club this Farmers Market morning and then whatever the day brings. Art bit - a heron. Hope your day goes well. Must make some koffy.
