What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

4.9 woohoo

Just another 400 posts to catch up on. If you all could be so kind as to stop posting for a couple of days that would help ;-)

Twitter still a bit mad. I'm also commenting on this morning Facebook link to all posts. Had one troll more or less telling me not to bother. Talk to the hand I felt like saying but kept it polite. 'F off!' Yes of course I'm joking.

Lots of shares going on to so I'm very happy.

Re my clinic this week. All went well, apart from the fact that not one ot turned up! Not putting me off. I was happy to set up my stall and mingle with reception.

Next month I'm doing weight loss the low carb way. Leaflets will be posted. At both surgeries. And hopefully I will get at least one pt. It's a learning curve. DNA are common. Even with drs appointments. It will look great for next PR opp. Working with surgery etc so it's a massive plus for our cause.

Hair and nails today then granddaughter and much laughter.

Happy Friday forum massive.

Had I know there were only going to be so few questions it could have been so much better but I swatted up on so much I actually got brain freeze the night before going through it all with Eric!!!
Its all good next stop BBC Breakfast with Naga & whoever?

I will lookout for you next time @HarrisonK

Morning all. 7.9 this morning. Not posted for ages. Been going through one of life's challenging phases and didn't want to post negative stuff but have been checking in now and again to see how you lovely people are getting along. Have a happy week-end one and all.

Hug for the challenging phase but lovey to hear from you again and you have a great weekend yourself.

Good to see you back dogslife.

I Was too petrified to interrupt Haha. Didn't want to be dragged off with a shepherds hook! It's a good start.
.Chortle. Chortle, Chortle..

Oh what a delightful image i now have...first class, @Debandez

and as to your other recent posts.

Girl dun Good..

Bubbsie nailed it for me..

and a note you made that it's a Learning Curve is spot on..
each step on the road makes you more proficient and aware of what the agenda is for others and how to relay the information the best way YOU can
...so far

no ones trained you for these roles and opportunities, you've MADE them happen,
( Tho' your making such a BRILLIANT stabs at it and getting it right so often i'm beginning to wonder a little bit
if you haven't been to RADA.... )

Nice approach and attitude to the turnout and Sub 5 score to boot..Whoop, Whoop indeed.

have a GREAT day my Diabetic warrior friend

nice to see you back dogslife

Welcome back, too.

Yep.. Life sometimes seems just an endless stream of days like that... But they do end.

I'd say don't be a stranger during those times.
Perhaps THOSE are the times we should actually post more.

Loved the support I got on here, during a pretty low time for me...

Have a good un, today..

@Bubbsie very smart door, love the brasswork too and hanging basket envy now
@jjraak sent you a PM yesterday.
Hey I had a scary experience taking the girls to the cattery which is 8 miles from here. As I got there and through the gate Bobs escaped from her carrier and ran off. She got herself in an alley with a 10 fence bordering some wood. The owner ran down one end and I pleaded with her the other end but as she ran in my direction she kept eyeing up the fence. I knew I only had one chance if she came my way but she got past me and then jumped into her carrier. OMG my heart almost stopped. If she had jumped the fence into the woods I dont know how we would have got her back. I am beyond grateful to the higher power looking over me today. I didnt close the door properly though it didnt open in the car but it is a flimsy affair compared to the other one so a new pet carrier is top of the list. I am still shaking!

7 even this morning. It's gonna be a hard, lean weekend, trying to do LC to see if these FBG #s will go down.

@PenguinMum have a wonderful time in Spain!

@dogslife welcome back to this thread. I agree with @jjraak -- it can be good to post here when our lives are going badly as well as when all is well.

@Muddy Cyclist and @HarrisonK hugs and sympathy for the nightmares. I had a doozy of one last night, some sort of initiation involving shoving pull-tabs under my skin -- or maybe just a new way to check FBGs.

As I got there and through the gate Bobs escaped from her carrier and ran off
OMG PenguinMum wow...thank goodness you caught her and she's safe...I still have one of the old fashioned cane baskets which I rarely use nowadays...so relieved it had a happy ending...you need a holiday don't give it another thought...she's fine as are you go and enjoy yourself.

Oh goodness, thanks be to that higher power! I've only just read your post. Big hug to you both.

I forgot to completely zip up one end of my older kitty's carrier one time -- thank goodness she didn't get away! And one time the KittenCat slipped her leash when we were outside -- I don't know which of us panicked more. Thankfully I was able to "herd" her into the garage and shut the door behind us. It is so terrifying.

Big hug to you and Bobs, and of course Daisy too.
