Well in these circumstances I cant win..if I fast through to lunch my BG just keeps creeping up whereas if I have slice toast (3.8g) with thick butter (probs the key) it seems to stop it in its tracks somewhat.Interesting and something to file away for possible future reference, seems you are caught between a rock and a hard place @ianpspurs yet as always positive and supportive of others, thank you.
I agree PM as @ianpspurs kindly pointed out it worked for me last night.
Hope the chest infection is responding to the antiBs.
Dont know if this helps but my friend puts the dog’s pill inside a truffle sized bit of pate..buys the cheapest and seems to do the trick.good afternoon all
4.3 today
we were out early because mum was having visitors from Australia this morning, (I thought it was New Zealand but this generation moved to Aus).
Nice couple, an artist and a photographer, quite amazed to meet mum who is their grandfathers aunt and contemporary with their great grandfather.
Mum's little dog is not particularly well at the moment and so is staying with us for a couple of days whilst she gets used to the medication we hope will help. Ingenuity is definitely required, she does not like taking the tablets (understatement), and is pretty crafty at avoiding or getting rid of the stuff, but, she needs to take it.
Hope your day treats you well
You may not be managing to persuade Suzie to take her tablets but you most definitely manage your T2. Enjoy your weekend.good afternoon all

Rest your shoulder, look after the kitten cat and we'll see you soonGood day, all. 6.2 this morning on 2nd try down from first 7.1. I'll be out of action this weekend to let my shoulder rest. It was pain-free thank goodness when I woke up but twinged a bit as I was getting breakfast. I will be reading posts but not posting after this check-in. Xxx to all and purrs, including to speedy cheetahs.
According to those who seem to know this stuff:@dunelm thanks for the pics of the speedy cats...they look beautiful but not to be messed with. How fast do they run..they are like the feline version of greyhounds! Hope the littlies enjoy watching them, and you of course!
P.S. -- Parapetetic package made it to the right state at dawn today. Hooray! Hopefully it will stay in this state for the final leg of its journey to the right address. Next time I will request delivery by Chincoteague Pony Express!
Funniest post of the week award! Followed by one from @jjraak (pick one , any one, all funny!)The pharmacy tech today asked me (again) if I'd had my flu shot yet. I replied (smiling), "Not yet, not ever." I told her about my online friends getting theirs and then getting itchy all over, with water eyes, and she looked about like I've felt reading these reports of side effects.
Did I mention that I have started to dream in emoticons? I had a dream last night, and another during a nap this evening, in which every character was an emoji.
My bladder is on the 90 minute duty tonight....on the dot. Been up 4 times already and it is only 1:30 am. Please can I have some sleep.........
And no your honour, I didn’t have anything to drink after 6 pm...truly...
