Sounds like you had a great weekend, which worked some magic.Morning gentle folks each. So fbg was 5.1 today, slept until 6.30 ish and weight back to trend at least today.I have felt for a long time that I function best in a very particular environment and this WOE is a bit like a misleading clue in a whodunnit fo me. Family weekend, all grandchildren watching lots of sport with my boys far more effective for me at least. BTW, never above 20 gms carb and *msl @ absurd idea of chaffles last night. Round 2 of man v chemo today.
Thanks for the hug. Route to solving the mad riddle of how I make all this work lies through the chemo gyratory system, hugs or not. Far less trusting of where LC leads. This WOE mostly feels like being in an totally broken relationship with food and nutrition - it just gets in the way. Hope the weather soon allows you to get back on your bike. Instinct tells me cycling, family and music combine best for your bg management.Sounds like you had a great weekend, which worked some magic.
All the best and hug for the second round.
@jjraak we were lucky because the water continued to rise and people did get stuck in the flood when the road became impassible and the police closed it. Next time we will be more sensible and will check whether the police have issued warnings not to drive - which they had yesterday.that sounds awful, @Krystyna23040 .
Glad all went well and you weren't stranded because engine flooded..:***:
Saw that on the news yesterday evening...glad you got home safely.@jjraak we were lucky because the water continued to rise and people did get stuck in the flood when the road became impassible and the police closed it. Good Morening.
Four once a badly spelt serious, well as serious as me and me's can be posting....know it's not about pet recipes, it's about insulin levels, weight loss and activity.
I have been experiencing the onset of hypo's during the day, over the last couple of months, but I have been very active and am losing weight slowly, therefore I have decided to cut down on my insulin coupled with cutting down on my Metformin dose.
Mrs J has been producing low carb meals, which are tasty including puddings which are producing some interesting fasting blood sugar readings and also evening readings.
Now with the rest of my medication this makes management of my blood sugars very difficult and is producing interesting reading.
Cats just get about everywhere we have a visiting have a beautiful ginger and white cat it lives across the road but has been coming round to our house for about 4 yrs now (I found it sat on the window sill inside the cupboard under the stairs one day lol .5.4 for me..happy with that.
took a pic other day, meant to share.
Rascal cat ..Marley has now taken to popping in like it's a Cat Motel
was just making a bite for myself, when he arrived, i turned to prep his dish of delicious cat food,
and left fridge door open, lauren snapped the cheeky ******..
looks like he has a serious case of "can't wait, won't wait " syndrome..

@jjraak that is a really good analogy and the breakfast was absolutely delicious.I think the scores coming down and you not being too upset, physically by them is definitely a good sign.
sort of like an airplane flying through turbulence, you've managed to get into clearer air, where the journey is much smoother.
And Kudos for the breakie...sounded delicious.
We were really pleased we got home safely - especially as it was a wasted journey as The Range didn't hold a stock of the Z beds in their store.Saw that on the news yesterday evening...glad you got home safely.
Your weekend seems to have been highly beneficial. Good man Mr Pickle for taking the family in a new sporting direction. As a grandparent, watching the care and attention lavished on The Faz so far in RWC19 football would seem a nicer, kinder option. I played both but only because I couldn't play cricket in the winter.Up with the larks this morning but I fear that they have all gone into hiding to escape the deluge or have flown the coop to warmer climes or larks are just figments of the imagination. What a lark!
Anyhow, larks aside, the wonder wheel of out with the eldest grandchildren last night produced a hipster 4.9 this am.
A weekend of foot the ball. I know, who would have thought that one of our rugby family would play such a thing. However, our grandson, Mr Pickle, played his debut game for the county on Saturday - he looked very smart in his county blazer but was a bit miffed at the final score. A better result with his own team, Northallerton, on Sunday - he scored two goals and was awarded man of the match (are under 12’s men? Seem to be when it comes to sport).
The sun has just burst into view - will it last? I think not. Not today.
Big hugs for all who ail in physic and psycho; balancing free time, nasty treatments or complex drug regimes.
Move as much as you can and take some time each day for yourself.
Koffy calls.
I really enjoy russets - seems such a shame to turn them into apple sauce but far better than going to waste. Something more meh like spartans would be my choice. No frosts yet here so plenty of time for them to hang on the trees. We no longer make cider but next Saturday would probably have been cider day - russets go well as part of the mix for that. Just seen that this year is the most colourful apple crop in 20 years. Also, love Robert Frost generally but Good-by and keep cold especiallyWell it just had to be done. Rain did not stop play. Coat, hat, gloves, step ladder, Egremont Russets picked and currently being washed prior to turning into a years supply of apple sauce.
