Please forgive the observation but it does seem as though MIL settled in care home and fbg improves. From the outside it appears that stress not diet was major driver there. Have a great day together.Good first day Morning of the New Year and a 5.2 for me today.
Murky day outside, looks like a damp day in store for Mrs MC and I on the historic Ironbridge.
Be sure to make the most of this new start..
I think the choice of pet is optional - dogs in our case as Julie is highly allergic to cats and I have a strange dislike, verging on fear, of them from childhood. We registered at Wood Green yesterday as we both miss the dogs. The pattern and thickness of socks is quite important apparently. I homed in on the wood, stone, leather and wool part - new house will need hyggifying big time. Slippers seem to be important - yesterday, after 4 years of searching, I found a hygge pair (spent a small fortune in the process). Basically, seems to me part of the orfentic vibe so enamel mugs and bowls with hand knitted porridge all round (LC, organic and ethically sourced obs). Enjoy your day and the cats.Morning All. Happy new year. 5.7 today yay welcome back my old friend 5.
@ianpspurs if Hygge is about socks, a cosy rug and a roaring fire I’m in already (with snuggling cats). Great idea for today though. Mr PM off to the footie later so I am free to slouch. @SaskiaKC your NYE sounded very Hygge and thankfully pain free.
Hope 2020 is kind to you all and is kind to the world (ref Australia).
Have a good first day. Stay well, stay safe.
No forgiveness needed, I arrived at the same conclusions, stress is a major player in all of this Type 2 stuff. Need to increase the amount of hygge in my life, but isn't it the same as the UK being Cosy? I need to do more researchPlease forgive the observation but it does seem as though MIL settled in care home and fbg improves. I don't think there is an English strain of hygge. Definitely a Scottish version https://www.theguardian.com/lifeand...-hygge-more-about-wet-moss-than-warm-blankets. English seem to be too busy chasing heroic disaster pretending all that action is somehow better than using your brain. Explains why we are where we are right now IMHO. 4 useless PMs in succession can't be an accident and definitely not helpful. No forgiveness needed, I arrived at the same conclusions, stress is a major player in all of this Type 2 stuff. With you on dogs, 48 years of having Labradors in our lives, always Champagne Coloured thus our latest being named Moët a great breed and very easy to train, I do like a well trained dog.I think the choice of pet is optional - dogs in our case as Julie is highly allergic to cats and I have a strange dislike, verging on fear, of them from childhood. According to a guru in Mustique it will never end. Any talk of ending is defeatist - the only way is up. Just go with the flow and enjoy it - because you're worth it.when will it all end. .
