******..always a shocker any thing like that
it's the what if's, i always think last longest.
His missus may well just be shook up.
(cynical part of me says mmhh )
Hope it's all dealt with swiftly and all are genuinely fine.
Any reason why he stopped.?
would have thought, pull out right, you' know you were good to go, crossing lanes
otherwise the oncoming car hits/narrowly avoids..much tooting of horns etc
turning left easy to have the car just passed unexpectedly stop for traffic, etc.
hope it doesn't keep you awake.
try the drumming thing on your thighs (ticking of a clock) i think @gennepher posted.
I do that most nights, and within a minute or two i'm yawning.
not sure if i nod off straight away but it does seem to help me.
You are welcome. I think Romans 12 4-5 covers that. (I often wonder just what my use is on here)Good evening/morning everyone.
@ianpspurs Thanks for the Candlemas Day reminder. I must send someone an email greeting.
You are Chief Correspondent and critical thinker who scrutinises LC like no other but you would never get past Dominic’s selection process TG. Apart from that you’re just a good soul and we thank you for it.often wonder just what my use is on here)
Why thank you young lady. Fenland has 2 phrases for folk like me which have very different meanings and uses. A Shoot is good. One is usually pleased if so described. A sooner is always used affectionately, never really understood by anyone who qualifies but always carries a duty of care for those ITK. Both have degrees from "bit of a" through to "proper." Never let a proper sooner use a plumber's brazer. You are Chief Correspondent and critical thinker who scrutinises LC like no other but you would never get past Dominic’s selection process TG. Goodnight and sweet dreams of comfy beds and giant chocolate bars!Good evening/morning everyone.

Wow so much going on since I last peered in here. My fbg at 5.30 showed 4.9 on the Tee 2. Usual caveats about % error, accuracy of meter and if that level is even mildly "protective." @Muddy Cyclist I think sage advice and reasons for precipitate increase in bg have been fully covered but nonetheless hugs and prayers for peace of mind asap. @jjraak the film idea and land of slightly plus fours have given you a mission - how does Lauren of Arabia feel about the new loves of your life? @trick60 impossible to avoid birthday cake on a young man's 4th birthday and you would have been a much lesser man had you done so. @dunelm interesting menu from yesterday and way outside my own comfort zone except the Japanese tea but food for thought. Just not much of it or in my usual hitting arc. So, Feast of Candlemas today and rainy here: If Candlemas Day brings cloud and rain, Winter will not come again. Not official met office you understand. Last call for Christmas decs dire consequences promised if not finally taken down today. A feast of sport for some of us but I can't find an English food associated with today. . Luke 2.29-32
Goodnight and sweet dreams of comfy beds and giant chocolate bars!
Good Morning, 6.2 so same starting numbers as yesterday.
Thanks one and all for all your sound advise and support re my bump, all taken on board. @trick60 have dash cam but just my luck, clip before and clip after incident are there, the bump nothingso I am going to trust in my belief that most of us humans are decent, honest people and clear my mind of analysis and leave it in insurance companies hands.
@gennepher good advise and be assured it's exactly what I have/am doing. I didn't comment on yesterday's art, sorry. I think it's great you are trying different methods and subjects, liked the reflection on this piece. I have also done some on stage scenery painting, used to really enjoy it trying to get the perspective right on the flats as they move back on the stage was always a challenge.
Out for pub lunch with friends, so wish my BG reading was starting lower, will have to be careful, but a quick Cycle ride but maybe not so muddy as @SaskiaKC portraid may help.
Take care one and all, enjoy your day of rest.
That is really good advice.Edit... half hour later...just thought, don't respond to the guy's texts saying his wife is in pain. Simply pass any and every communication from him direct to the insurance company...it may help them.
