As my mom used to always say to me - "If everyone else jumped off a bridge, would you?"

FBG was 6.1 this morning lowest it's been this week.
An update on the state of affairs here.
Keiran has finished his degree course will get his result this month according to his calculations should be a first.
Adrian is back in the UK after isolating the required period he came up to stay with us for 10 days he felt his time in Rome to be a bit disappointing as he spent most of the time in repeated periods of isolation so did not get to explore the city.
I am having a bit of rough time am now on rather strong antibiotic for an infection that just seams to hang on.
so having the normal sort of blood sugar problems that you tend to get with antibiotics on top of the messed up bG's since having the jab.
My MG had been giving me a few problems but since starting the antibiotics which normally would not be prescribed for me as they can cause MG to flair up or trigger a crisis ( it was a matter of do I take them or let the infection run wild ) its got worse but so far no crisis and am staying as far away as I can from A&E as possible just to be safe. Don't want to be taking up valuable space in the ICU as I think after the 19th they are going to need all they can get.
Things should get back to normal sometime but these days that may be wishful thinking.
Nice to see every one is carrying on carrying on. cheers all
Is it warm in North Carolina, Cindy? As my mom used to always say to me - "If everyone else jumped off a bridge, would you?"

Thank you @gennepher, I basically cropped the right side of the image.

I can only hope that the antibiotics do the job for you without any flare up. If Keiran does indeed get his first then what a boost.FBG was 6.1 this morning lowest it's been this week.

Hi Dunelm,Good morning everyone from a wet and drippy start here in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of chicken in a marinara sauce topped with cheese slid in at 4.9 this am
Bit of a mixed day yesterday. Returned home from our little house on the prairie only to discover, a couple of hours later, that Fitbit had taken to hiding in the laundry - now sulking in a bowl of rice but I don’t expect any sort of recovery. I may have to dig out my little screw drivers and have a nosy at the innards. That, and then the girl in the bubble falls over at home climbing out of her Little Tikes Cosy Coupe and fractures her left tibia - so, 2 hours in A&E with fraught parents and leg now in a synthetic cast. Sigh!
Art today - hooray, rice paper and ink - tried for a bit of dry on wet to get the ink running and smearing. Might have more play at this during the week. Hope that everyone has a good day, I shall still be using my mask after the doomsday clock strikes midnight on the 18th. Time now for koffy.

Hi Derek, Thanks for that. I popped some rice into the Ninja for a couple of minutes to cook out any moisture and then once cooled poured it into a sealable bag and chucked in the dead Fitbit - I am leaving it there until tomorrow so will have to see.Hi Dunelm,
If you have no little bags of silica gel to reactivate in an oven, drying out some rice and putting it in a sealed plastic bag with the fit bit, may have the added impetus to pull out more moisture. The ambient air must be quite moist a.t.m.
