What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

The aurora have been particularly spectacular over the last two nights because of the peak of activity on the Sun.
Unfortunately we have had cloudy skies in Cumbria overnight both nights.

For the young it will be interesting to see how the world achieves net zero by 2050?
We are no way near producing enough replacement fuels for jet transport.

Good morning everyone from a pretty dull start here in the chilly Chilterns. Still, it’s a nice place to go for a walk in your green Hunters and fancy Barbour. Art bit - things prepared a few days ago so I don’t miss out. Have a wonderful day if you can, I shall finish my koffy and then we are off.

An annoying 7.2 this morning. I really do want to add flaxseeds, Greek yoghurt, berries and peanut butter back into my diet but it looks like I will have to wait a bit longer. I am so missing them.

However, have just got delivery of Montezuma 100% chocolate and peanut butter mini eggs. Had one with breakfast and really liked it. So will keep then as a special treat.

Red kites should be all over the place!
Enjoy the change, Dunelm.

Flax seeds should be ok. The roughage will feed your biome.

12.9 at 2.30 this morning. Haven't checked agsin. Went to bed erly last night because I had been feeling awful all day. Of course that meant an early rise but I took some pain killers and fell asleep again in the big chair. Started to wake up around 8 am but only really managed to surface around 8.45. Went for my shower and got dressed and now I think I might have a 2nd cup of tea and think about breakfast. With the little that I ate yesterday, BG shouldn't have been so high this morning. Maybe caused by whatever it is that's wrong with me this time. I do get frustrated with my body misbehaving for no known reason - except old age.

Running out of pain killers - I was sure I had another packet in the drawer, but no. I've put an order in, but it'll be a day or so before it gets through the system. I have one more dose for tomorrow morning as long as I get through today without taking more. That's some sort of incentive.

Its morning again in Little America, how you doin'? My Fitbit stats for last week confirm I turned in a 10 month PB. Not worth a hill of beans in the big picture but gave and gives me the opportunity to share the love shown me by the ultimate big picture creator. Tough gig here today;). I just sat with 1 yo grandson (child minder malfunction) listening to gentle lullabies - my, but babies have such peau douce. School pickup, quick feed and water then ferry No 1 grandson to swimming later. He likes to be watched and praised. Meanwhile, "out there," uncommon sense may be catching on. The crazies may have both overreached themselves and badly underestimated Rishi and his advisers. Does start to look like neither he nor Sir K S are such useless a-holes as their predecessors. @dunelm thanks for the art which is shaping up nicely. Enjoy the walk but I think the stereotype is years out of date - Europeans have that "look" and functionality taped as well so naturally those ITK buy the best.. Who knew? @Krystyna23040 you will get there so don't sweat the small stuff. Good point @lindisfel about flaxseed - do you mill yours? Mixed with inulin they become very like digestives if left for a day and make a spiffing cheesecake base. Spring tomorrow (and teacher's strike here so one, perhaps two more not so small babes) or on my mum's birthday (21st) take your pick. March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb - could the crazies and overweening egos please get with the program. Enjoy your day everyone.

Another wonderful sheep keeping (at least) two cats warm. Those beasts aren't just splendidly cared for by yourself but by each other and your creatives. Enjoy your day.

No FBG today.
After getting up late - deliberate to reduce whingIng for food time - was then in a
rush to get Kiki to the vet on time this morning. Feels quite cruel to be depriving her of fur in this very cold weather. But we are not having kittens.
Have seen on internet a sealpoint Siamese whose fur grew back dark after the same operation. She looked very strange with a dark rectangle on her side. Apparently the fur colouration is affected by cold. Hope this doesnt happen to Kiki. Maybe she will have to stay Inside for a while.
However I am told garlic needs the cold to germinate and MrSlim has soaked the cloves as recommended, but now it is down to me to plant them.

Have been remiss of late Ian, I must start feeding my biome properly again and as a result I should get more energy.
