Thank you for sharing that amazing creative - wow, just wow - and for showing us Monty again. We had one of his relatives in our back garden two or three days ago. As for prescriptions, I just had a reminder to order some meds: see attached. I find this very helpful with each reminder

Morning all from L.A. on a morning which I believe is elsewhere dubbed dreich. No amount of rain will ever make Breckland verdant but the dustbowl vibe has lessened for now. @lindisfel interesting programme about the TS what channel was it please? @Krystyna23040 nice fbg today must be the relaxing day and venison burgers. Ostrich burgers are quite widely available, Buffalo burgers not so much but are wonderful. The Buffalo and Bison steak are much harder to source,. We await a call from a farmer/butcher/croc meat producer in Cambs for their home reared Bison steak. The retired dairy beef needs experimentation and negotiation.. MIL prefers her beef to resemble something found at Pompei imho whereas I'm in the walk it through the kitchen and slap it on my plate hoofs 'n all camp. JKP has gradually drifted somewhat in my direction. Either steaks where all 3 of us can be accommodated or large pieces, (mucho ribs) ideally cooked <100c work best for me. That's the colour beef should be. As for medication the most important for me now are the chemo tablets which are either given to me on my drip trips or couriered to me direct from CUH. Anything else doesn't really impact me if I miss even a week or two. @dunelm shame about the weather on your return journey but good for turfing. Thanks for sharing another stunning artwork. Here, keto cinnamon doughnuts look like keto bagels - who knew? Quick sniff and a disaster daahling, a disaster was avoided. Have any old kind of day you want but KISS: keep it simple stupid - thanks Ray Stedman.
Thank you @ianpspurs and the turf is bedding in nicely

5.6mmols this morning on a sunny with the odd cloud. Cold overnight, but spent some time in the garden tidying up. So much rain yesterday. I started roping wooden pallets together, with a couple of brushes, and a tarpaulin, a few boxes for sitting in!
My better half, thought I had cracked up.
After, her idea of being creative is cooking for the grandkids, and totally destroying the kitchen and the food!

I loved Harry Turtledoves WWII series. Still in paperback on my book shelves, plus his long series on the alternative U.S.civil war through to the 1950's. Also his take on the Pearl Harbour. His Shakespeare book. And also the book he wrote with Richard Dreyfus. The Two Georges.
Some of his later stuff, wasn't as good in my opinion! But his characterisations of people in general were really good!
I have read so much science fiction, what ifs, trek, and some of offbeat stuff, which is how I found Jodi Taylor.
Her last book in the series as with all are five star, and have sold over a million.

Might not be able to post tomorrow, out with the wife to her appointments, which should last most of the day.

Gonna get in the garden, grass needs another trim. All this rain is having the verdantcy of the leaf sprout quickestmost, that I have viewed this summertime season.

Have a lovely day!
All the best with that appointment

Rain all day yesterday...
Nighttime wild life camera.
Midnight's leisurely night.

Creative is FW inks, hake brush, and water.
These and others I have painted are being sent to postcrossing recipients. I shall find out how well they hold up in travel pretty soon...

The baby sparrows are demolishing the fatballs rapidly.
They do not look so much baby fluffy things any more, because they are developing their adult colouring and markings. However they can still turn into a helpless fluff ball if they think an adult is next to them!

The male robin has returned after presumably having a family elsewhere. And so has the mottle faced bluetit.

Time for a quick nap....

Have your best day.

Was a relatively good day for weather yesterday after a very wet weekend, but cool.

Another grand cool morning but rain for the afternoon by lunch time.
Marjorie off to Carlisle on the bus after parking her in car in the local town.

I shall be spending time on zoom with other younger old men with an whole smorgasbord of health problems we will try not to talk about.

Have a great day friends.

Another cracker of a piece, thank you and I am sure that the recipients of them will get great pleasure out of them - I shall have to bet some of these FW inks

I think a relaxing Sunday did help blood sugars.
As well as venison I do like kangaroo and crocodile but suppose I would have to go back to Australia to get them again.

Good morning everyone from a bright and sunny start here in the dark and dangerous north. 4.8 after sleeping for 10 hours (interspersed of course with the obligatory dashes across the hall every couple of hours). Washing is now on the line and I am enjoying the chirping of the birds in the otherwise quiet of the garden with the sun warming my bones. Slightly in the shade or I wouldn’t be able to see the screen on my I-prod (as the girl in the bubble calls it). Extra duties for the next six weeks, evenly spaced (or otherwise) between her other grandparents and ourselves although her other grandmother teaches piano and choir so there may or may not be booked lessons. Flexibility - that’s the word. Wish it applied to my Apollo like stance. Pal arriving from USA today. We have a reunion to attend at the weekend. Art bit, another structure in the making. Hope your day is kind to you. I estimate that mine is the first Tuesday of this current long weekend. Koffy time.

7.6 this morning.
Yesterday I had a dental check up. X-ray flagged up a small infection in root canals of two teeth that had root canal treatment many years ago. They can be saved with some complex root canal treatment provided by a practice that just does root canal work. It is not an urgent job but it needs to be done fairly soon.

Yesterday I did 20K steps. I hadn't intended to do that many as I was going to bus back to classes after the dentist but the bus didn't turn up.

Impressive start to your Art Bit @dunelm

Enjoy the reunion...

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen, today is Tuesday here in this reality and on Tuesdays in the interest of gender equality one of me, me’s and myself identify as Loretta, now that should pacify the w*** brigade.

Blood sugars this morning were 6.4 and I know why. Pasta baby, pasta.

I had plans for today that also involved my motorcycle and a vegan bacon sarnie, but they have been shelved as I have a wood store to finish which will involve shelves, isn’t the Engrish language wonderful, effectively the same word, but different meanings, ah I digress apologies.
Mrs J has muttered about mowing the front lawn wether it’s me mowing the lawn or her is yet to be established, but clarity is sure to arrive.

Now it is time to depart and nearly spring into action.
Have a great day all, bring a smile to a strangers face and remember barking at the postman could mean you no longer receive bills.
Stay safe.

Morning all from where it is a tad sub-optimal in the summer department but it is dry. Early morning bloods taken and spiffing Belgian buns acquired for the two other humans of the dwelling. Excellent cafe in the Hub where bloods are done, run by some near neighbours. The caramel shortbread was definitely giving me the come on. Today is the Feast of James the Great, Apostle so perhaps Moules and (Halloumi) frites should be in order. Camino de Santiago is OTT for me but @Krystyna23040 would probably fit it in during a lunch break:D. If you prefer to see your crocs etc before buying, a trip to Cambs could work. Order in advance and enjoy some splendid coffee. I haven't tried the sausage rolls but they are aspirational according to JKP. @alf_Josiah - Loretta - why be a slave to the outmoded binary ways, there are so many more ways to self define. Be young, be foolish, be woke. @Annb as our resident bakeologist would all almond flour work here - no sugar obs. I like lemon but that e stuff is hideous. I like the sound of the sauce but pork chops are a major no no afaic. @dunelm liking the iProd very much. Is the new structure included in the 40 hospitals - does resemble some in East Anglia. We too have a grandchildren schedule mapped out hence scoping out the aspirational facility. Moules, cake, croc or not enjoy today. Dean Martin, Jane Birkin, George Alagiah, Trevor Francis, Chris Bart-Williams and so many more - all once golden boys and girls recently gone. Have a song which is more upbeat.
Edit: Belgian obs
