What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

I'm really beginning to wonder if AI has become more human and become Artificial Idiocy. When the technology controls us rather than us controlling it, we have come to a sorry pass. Well done, Gennepher, on striking a blow for human ingenuity.

It's not a matter of harping on about the issues with your car, it's more a gripping saga that holds my interest (can't answer for anyone else, of course). So as far as I'm concerned, do keep reporting on how the battle is going. You may yet win the war!
Thanks @Annb
I am going to win this war tomorrow by hook or by crook...

If I'm right and I'm not a car electrician.
It can be muted by removing the fuse allocated to the system.
But again a diagnostic computer and a dealer would be needed.
The more they try to improve safety systems, the more that seems to go wrong and more expensive.
The car dealer is next week @Lamont D if I don't win the war with this car tomorrow ...

My experience with car dealers is they don't care, and they say they have done something to sort something I have asked them to when they patently have not...

Eg when I took my last car in for something (a different car dealer), I waited 2 hours in the waiting room, but I kept my eyes glued to my car the entire time where I had parked it in their car park where I would be able to keep my eyes on it. Two hours the car mechanic returned with my keys saying it was all sorted. I kicked up a stink saying no one had been near my car, nor even taken it into the workshop, which it needed on that occasion.

They think because I am a woman that I am some stupid old biddy well past it.

6.2 pre counselling.
Been in garden this morning doing a bit.
Mrs L is having a relaxing day.
So I can get on with things before I go out.
Nice but cool out there. Lots of rain from early evening to midnight.
Temperature going up from forecasters, which will be welcome.

Gotta go.
My best wishes to you all as always.
A special mention in dispatches for @gennepher for the car wars and @jjraak for just being there for me.
Wake up @lindisfel. Being a night owl is not recommended, you are not nocturnal, as some of those birds you watch.

Morning all from a bright but chilly L.A. on the day before Candlemass which also happens to be Drip Trip day. Thanks be to God for allowing us to unlock some of the wonders of creation to allow this and to the nurses for their kindness, patience, skill and just sticking with the job over the last 14 years of pure infantile spite from various “governments.” I'm off across the sea bed to near Ely in the venerable RR which for the era it was made has plenty of bells and whistles but not the sound and light extravaganza @gennepher suffers. The other car has lane assist which was easily turned off on the way home from the dealership. I need to hydrate just enough for ease of vein access but not to need to drag DrippyMcDripface around East Cambs. Y'all enjoy at least some aspects of your Thursday :don't be too greedy and take everyone's pleasure.
Hope drip trip goes well today @ianpspurs

Good afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen. I have been lurking and not posting.

My blood sugars over the last non posting days have been between 8.0 and 4.7. With an average of perhaps 6 .

Good luck for @ianpspurs on his drip trip and thanks to @jjraak for the mention and compliment. I hope your posting helps that lady.

Hopefully attached is Mrs J’s latest art work. This will be primarily of interest to @gennepher and @dunelm our regular painters.

Stunning.

how did I forget @ianpspurs?
Aaaaagggghhhh.

And that is what is like watching my lot for over fifty years!
Maybe that is why I was in counselling today?

I'm knackered from the session. I have had a deep serious discussion about this week. It was hard to describe and a residual headache has developed.

So a quiet hour before cooking.

You may be right but I don’t know the make, model to see a wiring diagram. If it is solely served by a single fuse - Bob will try and be your uncles monkey.

A smashing piece of work - full of colour and detail. Well done to Mrs J now let’s get the oven on.

I think they found out that you are a force to be reckoned with @gennepher.

Good morning everyone on a dark and blustery start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. 5.7 on the rollercoaster snapshot. An up and down day yesterday. Hands and lower arms decided to go on strike but happily contemplating the joy that my sister brought into all our lives. My niece took my parents to the place where her ashes were returned to the earth a year ago and then had lunch in a favoured restaurant, by the sea. Things can only get better - get off that keyboard Brian you also have diabetes. Packing morning - we are not leaving until lunch time. Son in law is in charge of mass catering tonight - eight adults and eight children - one who now identifies as an adult just because she is 19 (I shall identify as a child for the weekend to balance the numbers - hope my body is all flexible, pain free and enjoys all the activities). Art bit - hands playing up yesterday so just a quick daub on a postcard size piece of watercolour paper. I hope that your day is as good as it can be. I have koffy to drink and a toothbrush to pack.
