What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

I suppose that's inevitable in August @JohnEGreen.

Saturday's FBG 4.3 on waking at 6.00 am.

Yes I suppose that is correct at the moment it’s 22 degrees in Rome and they can expect a high of 35 later today certainly a lot warmer than here.

Thanks for your generous compliment on the photo it is a favourite of mine.

Fbg this morning 5.1 quite happy with that.

5.3 this morning.
We are off to Gooderstone Water Gardens for a relaxing meander in the sunshine. What a change from yesterday.

Did another half hour of my 5 hour training video yesterday. It actually took nearly 2 hours to go through the 30 minutes of because I had to stop it every 2 or 3 minutes to write down the information. There is just so much new information on the video.

I have got some superb notes and really understand it now. Can't wait to teach it to my classes.
This afternoon will go through another half hour.

There you are and you said you didn’t have a creative bone in your body all you needed was the right tools to bring it out very nice effort indeed.
Thank you John and thank you @Krystyna23040. Personally, all I think I've done is pressed a few keys and manipulated an image. In my case any satisfaction came from making a piece of software "work" as opposed to what I think say @gennepher and @dunelm gain from turning an idea or emotion into a visual form. I like to imagine they find both pleasure and a way to deal with emotions in the process plus give pleasure to others. Well, thems my onions anyhow. Rather than creative I see my process more as vanity in not letting a piece of software beat me - pride over creativity. Great fbg by the way.

That your kidneys are in working order is a big plus @Annb. Were recurrent urinary tract infections the reason your ultrasound scan was performed?

UTIs are very common in women, especially diabetic women, as you will know. Unfortunately there are strains of bacteria knocking around that have developed resistance to many different types of antibiotics, so doctors are reluctant to prescribe courses of antibiotics for any longer than absolutely necessary.

Friday's FBG, 4.7 mmol on waking at 6.00 am.
Having had three courses of antibiotics for recurring UTI, my Dotor prescribed a single dose antibiotic. The difference with this one is it is taken at night with a  large glass of water. The idea is to completely fill the bladder with this targeted antibiotic.
It worked.

Yes, it is definitely the right one @gennepher.
and at the right price.

Edit: have just realised that other forum members have already confirmed that it is the right one.
Thank you @Krystyna23040
If I recall you said you took one and a half tablespoons daily. How did you take that if you don't mind me asking...

I agree with "Rather than creative I see my process more as vanity in not letting a piece of software beat me" @ianpspurs even for me.
I am still struggling with understanding this app.
There are so many pages to bring up and so many names of things that I do not have a clue. And out of frustration, I fling the app offscreen, then re open it again, and start again. I suspect you will understand the app sooner than I will.
