What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Omg ..just watched trump & VP Maybelline argue with Zelensky....car crash tv.
So did I and I was appalled at the way those two bullies treated a visiting president. But bullying is the way it goes these days. Poor Zelensky is inevitably on a short fuse after all these years of war and was in no condition to chill out and remain calm or charming like Starmer and Macron. Awful to watch. If they had been in a playground an adult would have stepped in and stopped it - I hope.

There's an e-mail in my In-box telling me that there's a reply from @dmpro to @Lamont D but it isn't there on the forum. Is there some problem with the website? I often do miss things because it seems they come through just as I am on the forum, but then don't appear. Don't understand the tech.

Just had a letter from the hospital to say that the heart monitor showed that my heart rate was regular when it was going fast (ie I was struggling to get around and putting my heart rate up) but irregular when I rested. Nothing to worry about apparently. Not that I am worried because it has sorted itself out now. It must have been some kind of inflammation or something that didn't show up in blood tests. The letter also said that I am waiting for a heart scan, which I know nothing about. No real point now that it has fixed itself.
Nowt in my alerts or emails.
And I have not heard of any poster called @dmpro.
Thanks @Annb

A really long day.
Long story short. Been in A&E all afternoon till 8pm gone.
Reason, next doors dog took a fancy to play with my slippers.
Long gash, two punctures.
Lots of blood, but no pain.
Faster all day, just had some ham.
Got home with big bandage, anti biotic (sugar free) and a jab of something or other.
Lots of sympathy especially from the neighbours. But kids and grandkids just laughed for some reason.
Have had to tell the lads I'm on the injured list for tomorrow's footie.
FBG don't care. Off to me pit.
Dog had to be put down cos of the infection from chewing on my foot.
(No, he didnt) And yes, he is in the doghouse.
I couldn't bear to think that the dog would be put to sleep because of me.
I'm not out for revenge. Whatever the reason, cos I don't know. It is not right.

Hope you are all well.
Mrs L has a restful day cos I wasn't there..........

Ouch!

Ouch! That will challenge you running up and down the stairs. Glad that the dog is OK.

Good morning everyone on another bright and beautiful looking start to the day, the month and meteorological spring with a chirpy 5.4 on the gom jabbar.
A great collecting of vitamin D yesterday and not only on the mushrooms sat on the kitchen window. We must be closely related to mushrooms in the depths of DNA. Some more than others!
Train to catch this morning to Newcastle Upon Tyne for a meet up with a bunch of Falkland Island Veterans.
Mrs Miggins is going to one of those afternoon tea things with a bunch of friends.
Art bit - what happened when the ink dried.
Hope your day is not too fraught or busy. I am going to make koffy and possibly make a flask up to take on the train.

Good still just Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and if you are believer in deities, may your deity help our poor ex colonialists, those who live in Trumptonville.

Blood sugars this morning were 5.5

Now, being of Welsh extraction I don’t celebrate St David’s day, wear daffodils or leeks, please don’t mention leaks after my radiotherapy last year I’m on water pills. Nuff said.

I sit here slurping my koffy contemplating attempting to mow the front lawn while Mrs J is making a Hungarian goulash for tonight’s dinner, so much for celebrating St David’s day!

Stay safe all, remember a smile might just brighten someone’s day or frighten them. It’s their choice.

Time to go…….
