6.5 this morning.

Yesterday when we were driving home from Norwich classes there was an absolutely wonderful sunset. Of course Norfolk is renown for its endless big skies and the drive back from Norwich was perfect.

Thank you. She isn't fully better: I haven't done anything wrong for days so she must have been very ill. Mostly in bed asleep or watching tv but one can video call on WhatsApp

Dare I say it...
Too hot
So I drew two things that are helping me to keep cool.
A Summer Scarf Necktie Cooler Bandana
And ...
A cooling towel can let your neck or head feel cold within seconds...


I have a necktie round my neck, round my wrists, round my ankles. And the cooling tower (towel, spell check is being naughty again) around my head.

Each of these has been soaked in water rung out a tiny little bit.... and applied to the various parts of my body.

My daughter in Australia sent me the blue necktie about 10 years ago and it still works okay it still soaks water...


So this is my creative today and it is all I am capable of doing... and sleeping......

Another cup of tea is welcome this time of afternoon..

I don’t do well when it’s too hot and much prefer cooler or even cold days when I can control my temperature by adding or removing layers of clothes. Still, lovely piece of illustrative art.

Good morning everyone on a breezy start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north.
5.9 this a.m.
A bus ride along the coast road yesterday to Whitby. A climb up the 199 steps to the abbey and a wander along the coastal path now part of what is fancily named King Charles III Coastal Path even though it’s already The Cleveland Way and probably had many names in the past, like a vampire trying to hide in plain site over the centuries if there was ever such fantasy things.
Declarations have been made today about things with a garden theme running through them. Something about a shed and then something and something else I imagine. It will all become clear later.
Art bit - what happens when you put ink onto a non absorbent surface and then tease it a bit?
Hope your day is fully appreciated despite protestations from certain limbs and joints. I shall make koffy and hope it consoles the nagging currently going on from lower back.

I much prefer cold days.
I have more energy on cold days. 15C and lower is my ideal temperature.

7.5 at 04.50 became 10.3 by the time I got to the kitchen at 04.53. 7.1 now, after breakfast, leg bandaging and a couple of cups of tea. That was almost 3 whole points, just by moving around a little.

Podiatrist first thing. Feet are now perfect.

This afternoon met an ex colleague for lunch -who I haven't seen for over 10 years. We had a lovely lunch - it was so nice meeting her again.

Shortly will walk across the road to my venue for the evening classes.
