Another page in my sketchbook...
A bit more colourful, and in acrylics, pastels, and a white pen....

Two badgers are outside my bedroom window right now in the dark... the original badgers from a couple of years ago, used to actually look through the door window at me, but these newer recent badgers don't appear to realise that I am on the other side of this window even with the bedroom light on... I am literally a couple of feet away from them...

The badgers were looking for food in the recycle when it was waiting to be collected in the early hours... and caused their usual mess...

Like I said, I bought some stronger vinegar, or maybe I didn't say, I can't remember now... but the food grade white vinegar got washed away in the rain in the night (it worked as long as the weather was fine and there was no rain to weaken the sharp scent of the white vinegar), so I bought some much stronger vinegar, and even I can smell this, and the smell lasts over overnight even in a rain storm...I put a small rag soaked in the white vinegar under the recycle bags on the pavement - and so far all my recycle has been safe on the pavement overnight from the badgers.

Good night from me, Cat Midnight, and my nocturnal visitors....

Here's a link to my painting.... this site's uploader still doesn't work for me...

"My isn't the internet and interesting & magical place & SO educationa..." My Goodness

Longest badger poo & badgers wars weren't quite what I was expecting from it today.

Pretty sure, given the dross that's does get made into shows on telly, you could pitch badger wars to some one in the 'in' crowd at CH4 and get it commissioned for at least the first season.

If its any help, I'm happy to do a badger voiceover, wonder if @alf_Josiah or others might be up for it too...

mmhh..think I'll make one french, as in the monty python sketch ..."sacre blue, You stinky baddgers "
That would be brilliant @jjraak

Thank you @jjraak .
We had a 20 minute appointment with the Consultant at the Spire hospital in Norwich - which turned into well over an hour long appointment.

The Consultant was so thorough. The upshot was that Mr K was misdiagnosed in 2010 and was also misdiagnosed at A&E last week. He does need an op, but not the one they were going to do.
The Consultant is specialist in both areas so I think he is right.

Thank goodness they didn't go ahead with the op on Monday. They were right when they said that they could have made him much worse because they didn't have the expertise in that area.

He needs 4 to 6 weeks of medication before he can have an op but he will, hopefully, be in much less pain as the meds start working.

Yesterday I was so exhausted I didn't post. I don't know why I was exhausted as I am not the one who is in pain.
You will be utterly stressed and mentally exhausted @Krystyna23040 trying to work through this minefield to get the correct diagnosis and specialist for the op...

More hugs for you both...

But you are in pain. Your pain is not the physical one that Mr K is suffering, but the emotional one of seeing hiim going through all this. Then again there's the stress of the whole affair. Then again there's the physical and mental effort of getting to see the right doctor and wondering if he is the right one after all the rest. No wonder you are exhausted both physically and emotionally.

Hugs and prayers for you both. Be good to yourselves and each other.

9.5 at about 07.00 today. Another night in the chair sleeping and waking off and on through the night from about 02.00. BG was low last night so I had a RyVita with some cheese. That's why the higher than wanted BG at 07.00.

Took some insulin with my breakfast (Soup with a couple of RyVita) and Libre has just told me BG was 3.5. Can't win.

6.3, a pat (not the cow type please?) on the back I'm awarding myself.
Please contribute as you peruse p!ease?

Phoned doctors first thing and spoke to a doctor shortly after, to continue with the anti biotics as the infection is better but not totally gone, the doctor agreed and ordered them. They arrived at 3pm this afternoon.
another phone call with care company about the prescription being altered, which means the diabetes drug, Mrs L is now stopped has to come out of her blister pack, and the carers cannot do that. So the responsibility for her morning meds is now back with myself.
what a palaver, what a kerfuffle!
#8 paid a visit after school. And kept Mrs L occupied until the afternoon carer arrived.
now having a nap.
chicken for tea.
keep well with Amy coming in. Been steadily raining since earmorning, wind increasing.

Thank you @Annb. You are right that it is hard to see him go through so much pain.

Fbg 6.8 This is for Friday....

The next page in my sketchbook...
Painting is created with acrylic paint, pastels, and white pen....

More holes dug in my garden by the badgers with a long poo inside!. ... but they are different colours so it looks like it's the same badger eating different foods or it's different badger, but either way it looks like the badgers are still eating a lot of seeds and berries.....

Very windy and stormy here...

Goodnight...
