It's coming down which is great. If you don't mind me asking what did you eat yesterday?
3.2 but feeling great might not be so good you could develop hypo unawareness I recommend seeing your doctorMorning all 3.2 for me this morningLowest ever but still feeling great Its been low for over a week now (highest 4.2) this is in conjunction with me hardly having any carbs. I'm on less than 5% per day and still doing 18/6 fasting.
I will be having a chat with doctor next week @Ziggy2017 as I'm still on full meds.3.2 but feeling great might not be so good you could develop hypo unawareness I recommend seeing your doctor
Ok that’s good. Good luckI will be having a chat with doctor next week @Ziggy2017 as I'm still on full meds.
Most cereals would spike diabetics. You don't say which cereal it is. Check out the packet for the amount of carbs. I find Tesco website is an excellent resource for checking nutritional value of different foods. A 30g bowl of cornflakes for example contains 25g carbs. That is an awful lot and before you add milk which I'm presuming you do. Could you swap cereal for eggs. Or if you are rushing maybe full fat Greek yoghurt with 3 small strawberries. Or cheese and ham would be good but I see you had that for lunch. You don't say what you had the gammon with. Let me know and I can see if there may be a little room for improvement there too.Hi
Cereal for breakfast, ham, cheese and salad for lunch, gammon for dinner.
When I went to bed my reading was 25
2 weetabix is 26g carbs. Even 1 is high. Eggs and bacon is perfect. Sweet potatoes not quite so as you say yourself. The clue is in the name. I can see that you have the nurse Wednesday and you are holding off on the big changes until you have spoken to her. Let us know how you get on. Hope it goes well. I'm going to.make myself eggs and bacon now as you have put the thought in my mind!I had weetabix yesterday, egg and bacon today, with no toast!
Haven’t had my first appointment with nurse yet, due Wednesday, not making full on changes till I see her.
Playing with different foods though really helps. My levels dropped today after breakfast, had sweet potato yesterday with evening meal, only a quarter, but not a good choice
For me it would be something to avoid especially with milk. Did you test before and 2 hours after your breakfast? If Weetabix for example we’re going to be only carbs of the day would it be ok then? Or still no as raises for that one meal?
Haven’t even looked at milk yet as that is my go drink...
I'm glad I'm not the only person on here who eats a whole tub of OPPO in one go! Have you tried the Chocolate with Hazelnut OPPO? I've got several tubs in the freezer, which I have to replenish every week. It's addictive!Good morning - 5.3 for me today - this after a eensy-teensy tub of Oppo Salted Caramel (which I thoroughly enjoyed) last night, so I'm happy
Just saw this in Sainsbury's today, for the first time. Might be tempted perhaps.I'm glad I'm not the only person on here who eats a whole tub of OPPO in one go! @alf_Josiah I am suddenly filled with deep foreboding at the image of you and noisy, ergo hazardous, machinery. I await stories of limbs or parts thereof going AWOLGardening will not involve the use of noisy machinery
