What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Good night all just getting ready to go to bed quite tired now it’s been a bit of a busy day for me first my hospice nurse came to see me (I’ve been having problems with cramps after I eat particularly bread or noodles but pretty much anything sets it off) then I went out for some lunch with my aunt, mum and nanny I had ordered a kids portion of sausage and chips (I know very carby but I had a sugar free oasis or so the bottle said I’m assuming it had a little fructose in it) the portion of sausage and chips was massive for what’s considered a kids meal after lunch we took a walk around the street my nanny wanted an ice cream wafer but wouldn’t pay more than a pound for it lol (she’s 81 and she has dementia she never used to be bothered by prices but since her memory has gone a bit off she thinks everything is expensive now) anyway BG tonight is 6.9 have a nice night all

5.6 to start the day. My lowest dawn reading for over a week.
On the subject of gps activity tracking devices I use a Garmin forerunner. Personally I like it, decent app, and interacts with my health app on the iPhone, so that mySugr picks up my activity levels as well. I can’t compare it to others because it’s all I’ve used.

Ask me tomorrow- I’m off work then- I have a Fitbit Alta - highly recommend- and it links with my iPhone. X

good morning all :)

4.1 today

Phew it was warm during the night here!
Already the outside temperature is rising, the sun is out and we have a lovely blue sky with just a few wisps of cloud

Hope you all have a good day.

edit to add - @ianpspurs yes I take vitamin B complex, I used to take it every day after I started trying to equalise my weight and still take it a couple of times a week. I think it did/does help.

Serious miffage chez moi this morning. Textbook day yesterday one thought with low carb - a snack of a 6.1 gms bar ,4 rise and a main meal producing a 0 rise after 2 hours. 13k steps plus a 25 min high end cardio session.
Dutifully walked at least 250 steps every hour. This morning my meter is gurning at me with an improbably high number suggesting I am Krispy Kreme's biggest fan. Yes Toyah, it certainly is!
Today we (my wife and I) go for a Spa Day at a local hotel. This was a present from our middle son and his wife so coupled with the 8 course tasting meal earlier she did rather well. Home in plenty of time to watch football so a very pleasant day. Who knows what tomorrow brings? Enjoy your day.:banghead: @Goonergal have a great holiday stateside and maybe put that meter down a while? Oh, and for goodness sake stay clear of the border now you are so svelt theTrumpster will have you caged before you know it:angelic:
