What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Morning...another scorcher here & according to the BBC set to get hotter still...33c tomorrow...urghh...currently hiding in the living room curtains still closed...a slight breeze blowing thought the house...woke to a 5.5 thankfully numbers coming down finally.

5.8 for me this morning after waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much strawberries and cream ice cream. Important lesson learned...
Hope everyone has a good Sunday :)
Hi @liarsdance so after way to many strawberries and ice cream you still get a 5.8 ! Think the lesson learnt is you can indulge now and again and still get good numbers;)

When I first started posting on this feed I was really intimidated because I’d just made the move to real insulin from byetta and I felt as if my readings were way higher than everyone. Now, a year later, I realise what an up and down journey insulin is. You just think you have it sussed and nope, completely wrong! . I learn every day, every hypo, every blip.

Yes it’s like a competition to see how low you can go and intimidating to posters who have double figures +

I felt inadequate posting my really high numbers and really peeved off with some on here in the past who moaned if they were in the high 4s or 5s

You are right being on insulin is an up and down journey and hypos are part of that unfortunately

Take care Goacher
