Thanks phil changed basal vial yesterday so thinking its that but im fineHope your ok.
Have got another box in fridgeThat’s a frightening thought Karen. What can you do? Would the chemists take it back and replace it?
@Moggely its probably best you do your fasting glucose as you could be having hyposHi. stopped doing mine in the mornings for awhile as it was becoming a little obsessive. But after noon here it was 5.9.
@ziggy we went away for a break last week for a week and when we came back my levels were in the 7's for some reason, did have some wine so could have been that. I have never had anything below 5 as yet since diagnoses 5 months ago and was hoping for that. But i will get back to doing the morning one's i just felt i was getting obsessed with it. Thanks for your advise , greatly appreciate it.@Moggely its probably best you do your fasting glucose as you could be having hypos

Careful geefull...it only lasted just over a day heregood morning all
4.4 today
not much chance of our blackberries ripening today, forecast is for a cloudy max. of 16'C and we have a healthy breeze - that's ok for shopping though which is necessary because the LCHF cupboard is a bit bare and the freezer is mostly full of fruit currently
have a good weekend everyone
Hope you're ok @karen8967
@Bubbsie lovely recipe for clafoutis thank you, I'll have a go
The weather/heat is playing havoc with my BG's Ian...woke on a 6.3...had a coffee & a couple of cheese biscuits (total of 2.4 carbs) just so I had something to fuel my walk...walked Harry for a mile and a half...home...tested at 6.7...there isn't much I can do about it...will have to wait for the Autumn which cannot come quickly enough for me.5.5 for me today but now lowest weight ever - even after really bad time with chickenpox back in the day. Looks to me like this WOE is excellent for weight control/loss but once bg moderately controlled very hit and miss. I am pretty sure that the metformin effect is out of my system after over a month so I am controlling by diet and exercise. The caveat here is the weather has had an effect on my exercise levels so as it cools there may be a change. Hrs of sleep and resting pulse rate are both better over the month so that is good.
No idea if that is useful to anyone or a waste of board space.
For a better ending, @Goonergal, @geefull and @shelley262 great numbers and perfect counterbalance
