What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

\Morning...the rain is hammering down here despite that the cat has been out twice already...then rushed back in complaining loudly because he's soaked...come on coffee brew I need you now...lord he's at the garden door...I'm counting to ten (again)...woke to a 5.6

I did that last night I usually read for a few hours at bed time but ‘ just another chapter’ ends up being a lot more chapters and I fall asleep eventually last night I fell asleep around midnight , I woke up at 6:30 feeling great with good blood readings too.. it’s a miracle.. I’m a medical marvel, go to sleep earliar, wake up not tired and bloods ok.. I bet this could catch on.. if only others knew about it
 
Good morning all. 6 again. Looks like a n8ce day here, may get a walk in later.
@Ziggy2017 hope the trip goes well and the doctors come up waith a diagnosis and plan.
Got a vist to outpatients myself today for a heart echo(ultrasound) Not expecting to find anything, more a case of ruling out things. All part of the long saga of chest pain, i am trying to get resolved.
Hope everyone else is well, your BG is just what the doctor ordered. Have a great Monday.

Happy as more of a treats day yesterday although ate main meal middle of day and less later so clearly the more treaty food was dealt with earlier. Also managed to get a family and dog walk in after meal when rain eventually let up.

Happy Monday to everyone - work and catch up day for me but it’s wet out there so not very tempting.
 
Cordwangle oh me dearios today is a 5.3 day. Why am I relatively upbeat? That comes after sitting and driving much of yesterday and being hemmed in by 4 generations of P family females. Reading was at least 2 hrs later and in conditions which usually produce higher levels. Nolens volens rules it seems.:)
@johnpol brilliant news; @shelley262 interesting how the emotional/spiritual uplift of family times plays into good bg levels; @Ziggy2017 and @Canvaspic added to morning prayers - everyone else gets into the intercessions by extension.

Morning All. 5.4 at 0800. Great start to my first day back home and no pain. My lovely OH had hoovered and kept washing up to date while I was away despite his busy workload. He did sneak in a couple of takeaways though bless him. I am so happy my friend is well and heading towards the last chemo and I am back where I belong and another decent FBG number.
